We were advised to book but the Sunday night trade was poor and 3/4 of the restaurant was empty. lacks atmosphere, a little bit stuffy and a bit over priced. However the steaks and the venison were to die for. Wine list restrictive and some pricy wines but overall very good. Service a little slow even though few customers but the n it was Sunday evening. £110 + for a two course meal with wine for 2. I would return but not as my first priority as there a good restaurants, bistros and tapas bars that are better value locally.

Really friendly pub with good choice of beers on draft (currently Joker IPA, St Mungo's Lager, etc) and bottles. A good range of distinctive and quality bar food. Steamed buns a speciality. Food good value. Beers not the cheapest by are standards, but fairly proved for what they are - craft beers. current example Joker IPA 5.5% £4.00 per pint. It's a fairly young hip clientele, yet still friendly and welcoming. No website, but Facebook 'Redmond's' First leisure business in the city to be a living wage employer.

The best traditional pub for miles, situated on the shoes of Lock Long in Arrochar. A pub with a roaring fire and traditional ales.Room neat and tidy and the restaurant is always full even with guests from other bigger hotels. Nothing was a problem, even on a stormy night they called out the local aerial man to fix the antenna so that we could watch the local news. Very reasonably priced.

A recent family christening lunch took place here. The presentation of the function room, quality/presentation of the food/drink and customer service was excellent.

Good traditional pub with an island bar. Good choice of beers particularly real ales served by friendly & knowledgeable staff. Pub grub is basic but very good in terms of portion size & value.

A great little bar and venue situated right in the city centre of Glasgow, but still 'off the beaten track' as it's in a side-street. trader has a fresh and healthy vegan menu, a good selection of beers, and a medium sized venue downstairs that hosts indie bands and club nights seven nights a week. I would give trader five stars if the beer was slightly cheaper!

You are always assured of a warm, friendly welcome in this pub. It can sometimes be a bit busy especially during the summer when the campsite is full but the staff will make your time there worthwhile. Food is good, wholesome and reasonably priced and they have a good range of wines and beers. My family and friends use this pub quite a lot and would recommend it to anyone.

Real fires, genuine welcome in a former Coaching Inn. Food turnover is good so food is fresh. Can recommend the fish and steaks.
