Great selection of beers - typically 8 different ales on cask, and an increasingly good craft selection. I haven't eaten here yet, but the huge crowds for weekend lunches is obviously a good indication of quality. Really nice relaxed and comfortable vibe, with a decent amount of garden space.

Went to this pub a few weekends ago when the weather was lovely and hot, for a catch up with an old friend. From the outside it looks really small, but inside is rather large, with a big garden out back and it's very family friendly. Decor is retro, quirky with mis-matched furniture but it suited the atmosphere well. My friend is a vegetarian, and the menu was a bit stingy in terms of what she could have as a main so she had a goat cheese tart which was pleasant enough. I had some calamari with some chicken and we shared a bowl of chips. Food was a very reasonable price, about £15 each for food and a couple alcoholic drinks so we can't complain! I'd recommend this to anyone in the area wanting good service and some nice pub food that wasn't too greasy.

Great local pub with a comprehensive selection of drinks (including lots of real ale and craft beers from east London microbreweries) and an interesting gastropub menu. The trader has a couple of cavernous rooms with high ceilings and fashionably shabby decor. Best of all, there are a couple of log fires making it an excellent venue for a Sunday roast on a wintry day. Summer sun is also catered for with a large outdoor garden space complete with plenty of benches. Staff are friendly and service is quick, even when the pub is at its busiest. Great for meeting friends and family too, with Clapton station and plenty of bus stops nearby.

One of my favourite pubs in London. In the backstreets of Deptford close to the river. Surrounding area a bit 'hairy' but once inside you'll get a nice warm welcome from the landlord, his staff and regulars. Great beers on tap (changes quite a lot) at very decent prices. The walls are decorated with beautiful photographs of the area from yesteryear - the docks, the river and wharves. They even have a well-kept billiards table in the side room. Hidden gem.

Love the Barrios of London and I think trader is probably the best. As with the other Barrio bars, the music and cocktails are amazing. The barrio bars always have such a fun chilled out atmosphere. Not too pretentious but cool enough. And with trader , the dance floor is large enough to actually have some space to dance!

Good range of real ales, lager and wine. Always a friendly welcome from the bar staff here. Nice and cosy inside with big comfy armchairs, a piano and lots of board games to play. They also have excellent live music nights here and other special events e.g. quiz nights and bbqs in summer. Also has a nice little garden area for when the nights are longer. One to bring your friends to if you want to impress. As it's quite a way from Greenwich town centre (it's in East Greenwich in a residential street but nearby the river) it's never overrun with tourists.

Very friendly staff, good food and good mood. We ordered the beer battered fish and chips and also the mussels in white wine starter, which both came out great.

'Greenwiches best kept secret' according their website. Good choice of drinks and really decent food. Great place for a cosy Sunday lunch in their restaurant area or worth a trip on 'foodie tuesday' when meals are half price. Staff are really friendly (they seem to keep hold of them, always a good sign) and it's nice to be able to see the chefs at work in open kitchen/restaurant. All good, fresh ingredients! They also show football and other sports on a number of screens around the pub - though it's never too overbearing for those there for a quiet drink. This place has it all!

Newly restored boozer on Shoreditch High St that couldn't be more 'Shoreditch' if it tried!Exposed brickwork, a mishmash of chairs, menu's on clipboards and muchos shabby chic! I like it very much. The beers good too, and there is plenty of choice. Several beers from the Meantime brewery, including their new lager which is delivered unpasteurised and unfiltered straight out of the impressive looking copper tanks at the bar. Selection wise, expect to find more craft beers on tap, and a decent smattering of real ales. Plenty of bottled beers from around the world also. As you can see from the picture, the garden is humongous! Plenty more quirky seating, and the genius idea of a street food truck serving what looked like especially good 'beer food'. Prices are average for the area - not much change from a tenner for two pints. Service was friendly. Well worth a visit, particularly in summer.

trader is a great wine bar and eatery on Hackney’s trendy Dalston Lane. As you’d expect, it’s an achingly hip-looking place (industrial-esque with flooring reclaimed from a gymnasium) but, thankfully, there’s substance to this place as well as style. It’s an outpost of Borough Wines so, as you’d expect, the wine list doesn’t disappoint and it’s reasonably priced, too. I visited on a Sunday evening and enjoyed confit duck leg served with loads of braised fennel (£12). I had a feisty glass of rioja with the meal and a sweet, dark sherry for dessert – both were brilliant. Note that trader is a wine bar with food, not a restaurant with wine, so the menu’s perhaps a little on the limited side but nonetheless, it’s a lovely place to spend an evening. Bon appétit!

I've eaten in the restaurant of this pub lots of times and have always enjoyed the food. They offer a wide choice of dishes on their menu, which I'm always impressed they can do considering its not a big place. It's not posh, but they offer friendly service and good size portions. My favourites are starter: samosas & Spring rolls. Main course: steak fajitas. Desert: usually too full!!
