Based at Kestrel court, a modern business park in Portishead. I spoke to them on saturday just before closing about repairing an iPhone I'd dropped. As promised the phone was fully repaired (as new) and returned to my home for no extra charge. It was less of a repair than quoted for and a reduced invoice followed. I will use them again if needed.

This is an old fashioned local hardware and DIY store. The shop is quite small but they stock an amazing array of stuff. Things are stacked from floor to ceiling and it looks a bit untidy but staff always know where to find specific items. I often pop in for bits and pieces and don't ever recall not finding what I needed. The guys in there are always friendly and helpful even when I am just buying 50 pence worth. In fact I often pop in just to get a piece of advice about how to do something. They are full of sensible advice based on their experience, whether or not I am likely to buy something. They never try to push customers to buy. I know people who will go out of their way to visit this store rather than go to one of the large DIY stores in or near Bristol.

It's like walking into a sweet shop when you were a child, you don't know where to look, trader stocks just about everything, kitchen goods, watches, clocks, diy, and many many more if you can't find what you ate looking for then the staff will try and get it. The staff are always friendly and helpful, there is not many of these shops around anymore, Keep up the good work trader .

My husband & I keenly concur: if this helpful and indispensable store were a medical practice we'd be happy to use it for ourselves as well as our mundane domestic needs!

Excellant range of all types of furniture, beds, dining tables, wall units, sofa's, kitchen's, bedrooms, picture's and mirror's, also flooring. Very good service

They made a new front door for me which is a slightly odd size, did excellent job

This is a wonderful 'Aladdin's Cave' of a shop that every town needs. Great range of products backed up by excellent service and very competitive prices. It's the sort of place we will all miss when it's gone and it deserves the support of all the locals.

I use the shop regularly. The ladies who run the shop are always helpful, the queue for Post Office services usually very short. A stock of useful items is also held at reasonable prices.

They are an old fashioned iron mongers who stock almost anything from selling a single screw, to dog food. They will try and mend anything that others may not bother with. Genuine, nice people and nothing is too much trouble.
