This lovely village pub has an outstanding management and staff. It offers a most inviting atmosphere, well kept beers and a good selection of wines to compliment a high quality and well priced menu. Every village should have a pub like this one!

Consistently good food and service over many years - that's why it is recommended to pre-book for lunch. More recently, have also served food some evenings.

Decent food if a little expensive. Some in our group were made to feel rather uncomfortable by the religious iconography in the pub. These things belong in a church, not places of entertainment.

I have eaten at trader on a number of occasions and I highly recommend it. The food is superb, good value for money and the staff are very friendly. The place gets busy on a Friday / Saturday night so you may want to book in advance. I really enjoy the fish specials board and my son won't eat Sunday lunch anywhere else.

Friendly local pub with a great selection of beers and superb food all in a very informal and welcoming atmosphere. A proper "local" without fruit machines or juke box. Top quality restaurant and bar food. Probably the best proper pub for miles.
