Booked this restaurant for a Saturday night as the local hotel we were staying in refused to provide a meal due to a wedding reception there and they could not feed us. Fantastic that this happened otherwise we would not have tried trader restaurant. Only a five minute walk fro the hotel we arrived about 50 minutes before our table booking and no problem our table was already reserved. Large open plan type of bar / restaurant, light and airy with lots of character. Full of romantic couples, families, lads enjoying good ales and also lots of locals - what more would one want! What a lively place buzzing with all types enjoying each others company and eating excellent food and sipping good wines and an amazing selection of good ales. Our meal was fabulous, service excellent, food not too expensive but the value for money was great. The manageress Sam, was always on the go ensuring that the place was being run efficiently and effectively. A very friendly place lots of buzz and no need for the usual piped MusacK! and this place just sang with excitement. We will definitely be back, as this is a super place.

The fairly new owners of this, the highest pub in Leicestershire, have created a quality and choice of food at a fair price which makes it very busy at times, understandably so. Great gardens, great views and a fine range of beers etc

Recently refurbished and re-opened, part of the small Brunning group of pubs, great food, great welcome and atmosphere. Will be an ideal summertime location with terrace overlooking the River Severn, but a warm welcome in winter as well.

A great pub with a nice atmosphere. The beer selection for Real Ale fans is great and the whisky bar is also worth investigating. Get there early to be sure of a seat...

The food is excellent and good value. Even the "simple" dishes are far above average and taste great (try the chicken masala!). Gets very busy, which speaks for itself. Oh, and the beer is very good too, as are the staff!

Casa is a vibrant style bar in stafford that caters for over 20's it is open 4 nights per week and has an amazing atmosphere. Casa boasts 2 floors playing entirely different music, it has an amazing courtyard and 2 glorious open terraces upstairs. If you like Marbella or Peurto Banus you will love Casa. The upstairs room has a brilliant vibe and is available for hire.

I've been there twice recently and it's still as good as the 2008 review says it is. It serves real ale too.

This is a lovely old pub with great and fairly priced food and friendly staff (and locals). Have been there twice and loved it both times. Suitable for walking route as well. I took relatives there who were visiting who really enjoyed it.

We have visited this pub on numerous ocassions during the last fews years and it always delivers friendly, efficient service with great pub food - large portions of freshly cooked meals include your traditional pub fayre, plus a large selection of (changing) fresh fish, daily changing home made pies (eg chicken and mushroom, steak and guiness). They also serve a varied selection of home made and very tasty vegetarian meals - not the usual tasteless dishes that pubs supply! All meals are served with a selection of potatoes, vegatables, chips, salads etc and freshly baked bread rolls before your meal - to keep you going until your meal arrives! Good selection of wines and ales with guest beers. Drinks orders taken from/to your table if you prefer. Garden area and pub itself has lovely plants and hanging baskets etc. Irish folk nights every other Monday.
