The fairly new owners of this, the highest pub in Leicestershire, have created a quality and choice of food at a fair price which makes it very busy at times, understandably so. Great gardens, great views and a fine range of beers etc

I went to this pub on a friend's recommendation for lunch at the weekend. It was a good 'honest' pub. I didn't drink any ales, but I think if you like a good ale or two, you'd appreciate the quality and range here. What I did have was amazing food! The food was delicious and a real suprise. I didn't think a little pub in Beeston would have food like they do. I had a special smoked fish platter which was delicious. Well prepared, presented, tasted great and fresh! it's worth a visit if you're in the area.

My wife and I have eaten here on a number of occasions and the food is reasonably priced and always of a very high quality. The staff are also very courteous and attentive. You may need to book in advance, especially later in the week and at week-ends. Our only less than excellent visit was one Friday when service was a little slow, but the food was still excellent once it arrived.

We have been to trader Hotel Free House for 20 years and have always been delighted: the huge range of real ales, the freshly made & inventive food, using local ingredients, and the very efficient & friendly staff. And now they have introduced drink, food & music festivals with imaginative themes. They deserve their many awards including being a CAMRA member. Highly recommended

A lovely traditional pub with 'cricketers-themed' decor. Original 1930's art deco interior. Fair selection of beers, etc. Just a comfortable place to hang out with elegant style and not too noisy.

Good old fashioned British "drinking" pub worthy of a visit. No music, good atmosphere. Ideally placed next to cycle path for family excursion.

If you are looking for a traditional local pub that concentrates on Beer not food then I can recommend the Warncliffe. We have used this pub for several years and find its a real pub for real people, but in spite of this its not a spit and sawdust style pub. You can relax and enjoy a chat in comfort.

This is a lovely old pub with great and fairly priced food and friendly staff (and locals). Have been there twice and loved it both times. Suitable for walking route as well. I took relatives there who were visiting who really enjoyed it.

The food and service is now even better than previously recommended. Fresh local food is used where possible and many dishes are home made. Good quality, tasty food at sensible prices. An Everards real ale Mecca! Sue and Richard, keep up the good work.

After visiting several times to enjoy a drink and the food I have no hesitation in recommending to others. This is a very friendly pub with a selection of well kept beers wines and spirits. First class food is available, from locally produced ingredients. A good selection is available to be eaten in either the pub or restaurant, and all prepared by an excellent chef.
