This establishment is situated beside the large Car/Coach park almost opposite the NT Old Post Office at the lower end of the village. Park your car in the car park & you get £1 off a meal in the pub before you think about anything else. Mine Host is a Jerome Danger, Families Welcome, Real Ales, It is reputed to be Oldest Pub in Tintagel, They also have Bed & Breakfast Accommodation, In the Restaurant there is a very large selection of meals to be picked from the menu without the specials board & what a plate full !! very pleasantly presented all at an affordable price. The restaurant is very large with plenty of family tables. Service is very efficiently done by the staff & no sooner ordered at the bar & the staff bring your cutlery & condiments soon followed by your food appearing at the table. There is an ATM machine & WiFi. Disabled access, Real fire in winter, High chairs , Baby changing facilities, Pool table, Dart Boards. Open All Year from 9am to 12mn.

An old fashioned quaint pub where you can have a pastie and a pint in front of an open fire. Say no more.

We happened on this pub whilst visiting Bodmin and searching for a traditional pub where we could have lunch and download e-mails, etc as where we were staying did not have internet signal. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch and felt like welcomed guests who could stay as long as we liked. It was a great find and we returned later in the week to meet up with a friend who had moved down to Liskard. It is a free-house that serves a variety of real ale as well as traditional pub food which was delicious and very reasonably priced. We had ham, egg & chips and a brie and bacon bagette on our first visit and steaks and burgers on our second visit, all freshly cooked to order and beautifully served. The owners, Paul & Wendy who took over the pub six months ago, were very welcoming and friendly. The pub has the advantage of having two cosy traditional bars as well as a large dining room behind which has lovely views across the valley to Bodmin Jail. It also has a deck area and a small garden from which you can also enjoy the view. On our first visit we parked in the carpark near the Town Hall and walked up, visiting shops on our way and on the second we parked in the street outside. They do have a small car park but we found this difficult to find, but no doubt this will be on their list of improvements during this their first year.

A good "no frills" pub that offers good food, good ales and a friendly, courteous service. Drinks are at typical pub prices but the food is excellant value for money. I live a couple of miles away so it is not exactly "my local" but I have enjoyed its hospitality often during the past 13 years.

Very nice pub for food in the country, very clean throughout, food very well presented, staff very good. We had fish & chips from the menu which was some of the best fish we had had for many years, lovely & moist, super batter, chips & peas also v good. Have been here before - good then & not let down this time so a place to try when in the area.

Lovely pub in a beautiful setting on the harbour. Had a relaxing drink here after walking for 5miles round the cornish coast, gets very busy during peak seasons but is definatly worth a visit. Great food and a wide selection of drinks as well as some of the 'best' cornish ales. Reasonably priced and friendly staff, children are allowed in aswell.
