This is a traditional village pub with fantastic pub grub. Prepared to order, the portions are more than generous, excellent value and lovingly prepared by landlords Colin and Lindsey. My daughter's vegetarian and they are quite happy to mix and match items on the menu to suit. And for those who have meat on their plate, there are always plenty of vegetables as well. The garden's great for kids in the summer and there's a pool room for days when they can't be outside. Located in the village of Comberton just outside Cambridge. Highly recommended - but be warned - you may not have room left for dessert!

A lovely old-fashioned railway station with a friendly cafe and little pub with a seating area and open fire. There is a small comfortable waiting room lined with bookcases, all books are for sale using an 'honesty box' or you can read while you wait, seated in the proper armchairs! Newspapers, snacks and sweets can all be purchased in the cafe.

trader is a great example of a traditional village pub with fine cask ales, open fires and an abundance of home cooked food to choose from. It's a favorite for walkers with their dogs visiting the nearby Harrold & Odell Country Park. It has it's own car park and a garden set by the river.

Great beers, off the beaten track, large rum selection (they also have a rum festival in March). I know most of the pubs in this area and this is one of my favourites that I keep going back to (hiccup!).

The food is really tasty and well-presented. The staff are very pleasant and the prices are reasonable. We even had a take-out dessert for my daughter who rang partway through the meal.
