Fantastic meal (set lunch menu) for less than £11 pp, with a good wine in a very modern bar & restaurant. We sat outside on a glorious sunny day and the place was very busy, mainly with business lunches. Highly recommended as the food and service were excellent.

So right - atmosphere with alcoholic drinks only (on the basis of antiseptic quality inherent to the booze). I believe that food a definite no no from my experience and from talking with others... but I do love the place

This lovely village pub has an outstanding management and staff. It offers a most inviting atmosphere, well kept beers and a good selection of wines to compliment a high quality and well priced menu. Every village should have a pub like this one!

We live around the corner and are extremely lucky to have the Waggon as our local. The food is top restaurant quality with the Chef (Steve) having an impressive professional background in some swanky restaurants and hotels. Excellent value.

Consistently good food and service over many years - that's why it is recommended to pre-book for lunch. More recently, have also served food some evenings.

Decent food if a little expensive. Some in our group were made to feel rather uncomfortable by the religious iconography in the pub. These things belong in a church, not places of entertainment.

I have eaten at trader on a number of occasions and I highly recommend it. The food is superb, good value for money and the staff are very friendly. The place gets busy on a Friday / Saturday night so you may want to book in advance. I really enjoy the fish specials board and my son won't eat Sunday lunch anywhere else.

A very traditional, very friendly English pub and hotel, serves lots of real ale. Very quiet 17th century building beside 15th century church, vast breakfasts, vast bedrooms. At c 44 bb per room, excellent value.

Bar on 34th floor of building by the docks. Lovely view over city of liverpool. Need to book a table in the bar if planning to go. Cocktails pricey at £9.50 each but you're really paying for the view. Watch out for the final bill as they add 10% service charge to the total. We went at dusk so watched the light change over the city. It's not 360 degrees as part of that floor is also the restaurant.
