The small restaurant provides consistently good value, high quality food, in spite of all the difficulties besetting public houses at present.

Decent food if a little expensive. Some in our group were made to feel rather uncomfortable by the religious iconography in the pub. These things belong in a church, not places of entertainment.

I have eaten at trader on a number of occasions and I highly recommend it. The food is superb, good value for money and the staff are very friendly. The place gets busy on a Friday / Saturday night so you may want to book in advance. I really enjoy the fish specials board and my son won't eat Sunday lunch anywhere else.

Friendly local pub with a great selection of beers and superb food all in a very informal and welcoming atmosphere. A proper "local" without fruit machines or juke box. Top quality restaurant and bar food. Probably the best proper pub for miles.

Excellent local pub with real ale at more reasonable prices than the nearby competition. Friendly landlord. Pleasant beer garden at rear next to village church. Have been using this pub for years.
