Was having problems with my internet lines. Steve installed new wires/ boxes to the home office and removed old telephone extensions in the upstairs bedrooms. He was quick and tidied up afterwards and removed the rubbish. He was cheaper than the BT quote for the same work.

Ian produced a very clearly worded report along with an extremely comprehensive schedule of photos. The report was invaluable to us in coming to our decision on whether to buy; and has been equally useful in planning and prioritising the work we need to do now we've moved in. Also Ian responded very promptly and fully to several supplementary queries arising from the report. Ian's charges were significantly lower - less than half - than those quoted by two other surveyors for the identical service; so great value for money.

I used these conveyancers based on Which Local recommendations. This was in my capacity as estate executor. Service provided was competant without any fuss. Any issues were raised promptly when required and sorted out. Would use them again quite happily

I called Redvale to install a satalite dish for my new freesat tv. Steve turned up bang on time (even called prior to say he was on his way), did a neat and tidy job and made sure everything was working before leaving. He charged the exact price as was quoted which was very reasonable compared to other quotes I had received.

As we considered purchasing a late-Victorian house, a standard RICS HomeBuyer Report was commissioned from a firm of Surveyors. The report was reasonably good and helpful in some ways, but it said enough to make us nervous about some things and wanting to obtain more investigation and advice. In short, we wanted a better standard of report. So we commissioned from Ian Shore (BSET Services) what he calls a Targeted Inspection Report - to look at specific issues. (He does do other types of survey, including RICS HomeBuyer Reports). Mr Shore's report was very thorough, professional, amazingly high standard, helpful. He includes photographs of all features that he wishes to comment upon. The report was started and completed ever so quickly. Left us wishing we had gone to him in the first place. The report is a 'manual' for living in the old house, since it indicates what needs doing, degree of urgency, and when these things may have to be done (eg new roof likely in 5 years). Unbelievably good value - so cheap. Very highly recommended.

Straight forward people to deal with, simple honest advice in very turbulent times, they talk about investments and mortgages in layman's terms (i find this helpful) We get a monthly news letter keeping us informed on the markets etc. Will certainly continue to do business together in the future without any hesitation.

Excellent service, spoke to Steve re my sons phone line as I thought he had some loose wiring on his master socket. Quoted me over phone approx £35 dependant on how much cabling if any was needed. Came same day I called established it was an external fault but did fix the socket back on the wall and charged less than he quoted-he did spend a couple of hours and even went outside to check the connection to the house. Would recommend him without hesitation.
