Needing advise on a tax matter we contacted trader in Thornbury. We were immediately struck by their friendliness and approachability. We received initial advise over the phone but were invited in for further discussions. Again we were made to feel at ease and very welcome. The accountant was very pleasant, listened to our concerns and immediately offered us his professional advice. Although we took notes on the day, our visit was followed up by a letter the following day clearly relaying what we'd discussed and agreed. All in all a very impressive, friendly and professional service, I thoroughly recommend Burton Sweet of Thornbury.

In looking to buy a residential property in Bristol, we consulted Which Local to assist in the process of finding a recommended local building surveyor. From the initial telephone contact I was favourably impressed with Mike Parsons. He seemed very knowledgeable, flexible and customer focused. I'm pleased to say that this initial impression was more than borne out by the process of employing him to undertake a survey on a largish Edwardian property. The visit to the property was quickly organised by Mike through the Estate Agent, the report completed and very swiftly E-mailed/mailed to us. As part of the process Mike was willing to return to the property to go through/show us key issues/findings which was most useful. He has also responded quickly to any questions raised either by phone or E-mail. In summary nothing was too much trouble and he comes highly recommended as a professional, experienced, practical and friendly building surveyor.

We're buying our first large house and had Mike recommended by a friend. Mike provided a personal service, with the work completed within 24 hours. The report was sent via email and the physical copy delivered the next day in person. The report is well laid out with all the points labelled 1-3 for severity. All the issues for the solicitor were summarised on a single page. We're very happy with the structure of the report. I can't comment on the value of the service, but we didn't shop around. However, it was well within the range that our solicitor estimated the cost of a survey would be and at present Mike doesn't charge VAT. Mike has just started out as an independent solicitor so may be able to undercut larger firms. This may not be the case forever naturally. Highly recommended

Very pleased with their service for the sale of my leasehold maisonette. Rhian took the initiative and her efforts led to a quick completion for what looked like becoming a problematic sale due to the landlord's delays. Final fee was exactly as expected and I appreciated the up-front engagement letter which explained everything. Fees are very competitve too.

I needed to obtain a Civil Patnership Dissolution. Teresa Harris at FWD was amazing right throughout the whole process. She supplied her fees up front which amazingly were kept to, at a reasonable rate (best I found In the area). Teresa is also very knowledgeable about the whole process and calmed any fears I might of had about the whole process. All in all just amazing service.

Ruby wedding had whole family to stay. Christabel came to the house spent about two hours there and took some stunning photographs. She has a basic charge of £40 which was well worth it. very pleasant to work with and nothing was too much trouble for her.

trader did a homebuyer survey on my property which, looking back, was very thorough. It was carried out quickly (within a couple of days of the request), with the report (about 50 pages including photos) in about a week. Got an electronic copy of the report as well as the paper copy. Very pleased with the results and very professionally carried out. Cost was about 400 quid.

Sally did a wonderful photoshoot of our teenage son - she really captured his personality and went to a lot of effort to show him at his best. Sally has a very good eye for composition and has lots of imagination which made our collection of photos range from the very lively to the very reflective. We've seen her wedding collections too and they are absolutely stunning.
