Loft conversion in Nottingham city centre

Quite simply an outstanding service, and you can't describe what most builders do as a service! Guy was a pleasure to deal with, he said what he would do and he did it without any chasing or pressure from us. His men were hard working and polite and good fun, a real pleasure to have around, and they worked very hard and to a high standard. The final price was as expected, so Guy does a deal and sticks to it!

Chose this firm from the Council's Trusted Trader web-site to do a number of repairs to my boundary walls and roof. Very pleasant, did a neat job, and left everything clean and tidy.

A polite & cheerful team - masons, plasterers, plumbers, electricians, joiners, floor layers etc - who were competent, flexible, adaptable when they 'made over' our kitchen, utility room, dining room & hall. They project managed the whole job, bargained with suppliers, and the final price, with all labour included, was not so much more than we'd been quoted for just the supply of kitchen units. Despite two weeks of inevitable noise, mess & upheaval, we enjoyed the company of the C&G team and, in a funny way, were a bit sad when the job ended & they moved on to other things. And the end result was everything we'd expected.

Mark Curtis was chosen out of four applicants to manage a conversion of garage space into toilet and cloakroom. He was courteous at all times and utterly trustworthy. He organised the necessary electrician, plumber and plasterer but did all the woodwork himself, matching perfectly the join to our Edwardian hallway. He had the capacity to cope with the plumber's desire to alter the brief and completed everything to our entire satisfaction. Recommended by our architect, his was also the cheapest quote for the job! Thoroughly recommendable.

As part of a complete house renovation project this company replaced all of the windows and doors (patio and composite) for the building. They used there own recommended supplier Classic Doors and Windows. The window and door units are of good quality and value for money. The installation work was integrated into the overall programme and was carried out skilfully and efficiently. The work was completed to a high standard and gives a high quality feel to the finished of the renovation. I would thoroughly recommend this company for this type of work

Arrived on time and on date agreed, work performed without complaint (but cannot guarantee quality as in the loft). Took 4 phone calls to get the Certificate of Completion out of Bromac which didnt impress.

Installed a loft ladder for my daughter in Hull. Father and son team, arrived on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. Tidied up afterwards and gave us a demonstration on the safe use and care of the ladder. I was very impressed with the whole service and knowledge of product. They do other types of work e.g garage doors.
