After outstanding work for us in in Birmingham, we asked if he would renovate our daughter's flat in Cambridge. He and his equally excellent team fitted a new boiler and central heating system, fitted a new kitchen and bathroom, laid new wooden floors throughout and painted and decorated the whole flat. They brought air beds with them and slept in the flat during the week and worked from 7.30 in the morning until late in the evening to complete the work in less than four weeks. They ensured that only quiet jobs were done in the evening.He organised everything and the results were perfect - we have just never experienced such high standards and excellent service anywhere else.

Wayne and his team have just completed a kitchen for us and everything said about him is true!! Ours was not an easy project as we had clear ideas of what we wanted and had chosen the units, the wall tiles, the worktops and the paint colour - in addition there were new electrics to wire, the floor wasn't level and being an old house the walls aren't straight! We needed a good guy to put it all together - and we scored gold! No pursing of lips and sucking of breath as I showed him "The Plan" - we are really thrilled to bits / over the moon. The kitchen is as we dreamed and the quality of workmanship and attention to detail is superb. We have already recommended him to a friend, and a visitor recently commented on the "excellent job" and asked us who had done the fitting. We have asked him to do further work on our property and his number will always be our only call in the future. If, like us, you want quality work then have no hesitation in calling him.

Wayne has just completed some work for us replacing skirting board and architrave. His work is of an extremely high standard and we're really pleased with the end result. As we are waiting to replace a carpet and the job was relatively small, we were lucky that he managed to fit us in really quickly which helped us out enormously. He is a really pleasant, friendly person and the house was left spotless afterwards. I have no hesitation in recommending Wayne and we will definitely be using him again in the future to replace some doors and for any other work even if we have to wait.

Mr Randle answered my enquiry for a new built-in linen cupboard, quickly and professionally. He followed up the call with a site visit, an e-mail quote (2 options) and kept me informed about when he could start the job. He turned up at the agreed time and was a careful and conscientious worker. His attitude to any question or perceived problem was very positive and he made me the cupboard I had been waiting for! Highly recommended.

The wall tiles in our shower were coming loose, and the cubicle was leaking, so we knew we had to do something early in the new year. Then the shower itself "died". We asked Wayne early in December if he could initially replace the shower, as we had visitors coming to stay within 3 weeks; he gave us good advice about the whole job, helping us to see options we hadn't known about; then completed the whole thing to a high standard well before our visitors arrived - and that included sorting a supplier's design fault. So a good job very well done - and very local. We expect to call him again for other projects.

Our kitchen had been desperately in need of complete renovation (replacement ceiling, plastering, new floor, lighting, fitting of units and appliances etc.) for over 5 years but our fear of picking the "wrong" builder who would probably over promise and underdeliver meant we just kept putting it off. From the first meeting with Wayne we knew we'd got the right person for us. His advice is invaluable, his workmanship of the highest standard, and the finished result is worth every penny. He turns up on time, works extremely long days and leaves everything clean and tidy. His team are, like him, hard working professional and personable. When we decide to have further work done there will be only one person we'll call, no matter how long the wait. Geoff Bishop's team have now completed a number of significant building jobs on our grade 2 listed house: a major kitchen conversion which included structural work, the re-laying of a patio in blue brick which included some tricky levelling, a major bathroom conversion, the conversion of an under stairs cupbord into a small WC/cloakroom, and some traditional lead roofing repairs. All were completed in a highly competent fashion by a team who were a pleasure to have on site.

trader replaced our exisiting worktops for us in November 2012. Lucy co-ordinated the whole process for us, we visited Purple and were then able to visit the actual factory to choose our piece of granite. Members of team came to the house to make accurate templates, the following week they came back and installed the worktops. The process was smooth, the job was excellent and the cost was well the best quote for the best job! Would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Simon refitted our kitchen a few months ago and we would have no hesitation in recommending him. He is efficient, hard working, listens to his customer but also comes up with excellent ideas/solutions. We are delighted with the new kitchen and couldn't have chosen a better professional to plan, supply and fit.

I cannot recommend Brian highly enough. He fitted a new balustrade to our landing and fusion handrail for the stairs. He not only did the job we asked but made excellent recommendations to make it even better. He is skilled, conscientious, trustworthy and hard working. We will definately be having him back when we fit our new kitchen!!

Wayne carried out a major renovation on our kitchen which included knocking out the old pantry, installing all new fixtures, fittings & appliances, plasterwork, spot lights, under lights, floor tiles, work tops plus a new condensing boiler, which meant a new gas line had to be laid down. The work was so extensive that it took two weeks of very hard work by Wayne and his workmen, including weekends, to complete. Wayne is extremely professional, personable & trustworthy, and we had no qualms about leaving the keys in his hands for the duration whilst we lived elsewhere. He may not be cheap, but in my view he's worth every penny. The only problem is that being in the kitchen seems like living in another house! So much more work to be done elsewhere and Wayne will definitely be the man to do it for us. Next on the agenda: the verandah.
