Found this company through recommendation from our friend, they delivered our new kitchen on time, on budget and swept up after themselves !! New bedroom already ordered - very pleased with their service and prices and would highly recommend.

Mark installed our new kitchen in December 2012. I have to say that from the first conversation to finishing the job Mark was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Excellent advice, patient with our questions and numerous changes, competitive pricing, super quick installation with the absolute minimal disruption, and a top quality finish at the end. The choice of materials was wide, appliances sourced at a cheaper price than I could source online, with Mark dealing directly with the other contractors. In my experience the acid test is my wife who if there is something wrong, will find it. She didn't this time, and it doesn't get any better then that!

Having decided to do a full bathroom refit, I've recently been on the rounds of showrooms, checking quality, price, etc. In the end I used a small family-owned local supplier called trader , and was so impressed by the quality and value-for-money and sheer excellence of their friendly, knowledgeable service that I felt I must write this review. For example, the shower-bath I bought carried a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer (Balterley), was sleek and beautiful, and of a quality that equalled or bettered baths I'd seen at double or even treble the price. The staff were full of excellent advice. They'd supplied custom-made high gloss doors to my spec for the airing cupboard, and when I said I intended to fit these myself (I'm an avid DIY-er) they explained to me how proper kitchen-style concealed cup hinges were the best thing to use, then GAVE me the hinges, made me a special template to control the position of the drill for the cup-holes, then even lent me the special drill I would need! Their showroom is small but select, and full of excellent quality, keenly priced kitchen and bathroom displays. I found them a pleasure to deal with and can unhesitatingly recommend them.

New handmade oak/pippy oak kitchen just fitted, superb quality, no chipboard, solid oak drawers etc. Designed jointly with us. They even made sample doors so we could choose the detailing! And to cap it, price was very competitive with the top cabinet makers in the Ripon/Harrogate/York areas.

We collected four quotations for a kitchen refurbishment, mainly for new cupboard doors and drawer-fronts, new in-built cooker and extractor hood. trader quoted in good time and at the best price for our specification. Their fitter was diligent, helpful and accommodating. We are satisfied with the result and would recommend trader for kitchen refurbishment.

Started Tuesday 1 May 2012 This was a day later than arranged as a previous customer didn’t do what they said they would do so Intoto did it for them. We were on holiday for the first week to avoid all the noise and general disruption associated with demolishing an old kitchen. We came back on Friday afternoon to find everything out of the kitchen except our old washing machine and all the plastering work done. Our fitter (Jimmy) had made amazing progress considering the delayed start. He also said that he was going to come in on Saturday morning to try and catch up. Into Kitchens’ director (Stuart) telephoned to check everything was OK. We had a meeting prior to work starting and handed over a list of contacts in case anything happened while we were on holiday including mobile phone numbers. Saturday 5 May Electrician came during the morning to do all the electrics. We chose trader because they are in a trade association and also are in an approved franchise organisation as well. They had a good choice of kitchen styles and were able to put together what we wanted and show us a computer generated image of what the chosen kitchen would look like. We could choose the colours, surfaces appliances, sinks, style of door and drawer handles plus under sink storage boxes. Tuesday 8 May The kitchen was delivered this morning. The director of trader (Stuart) was in attendance. It came from Germany and was stored nearby by Intoto until required. The next day the gas hob was installed by a GAS SAFE Engineer. By the end of Thursday the sink, cupboards and ovens had been done. Our washing machine hose had a small leak. Jimmy said he would deal with it and have it working again. He had set it up so we could use the machine while the work was being done. He works really hard and seems to care about what he is doing. Monday 14 May Kitchen floor screeding done – need to leave for 24 hours to set. Wednesday 16 May New Kitchen floor complete – we are happy with our choice. VERY IMPORTANT We used a flooring contractor Intoto had worked with before – if you don’t, make sure they don’t adjust the feet the fitted cupboards rest on as damage can occur if they are adjusted by the flooring contractor. Friday 18 May Painter spent the day in the kitchen and finished on the Saturday morning – the result was excellent. Tuesday 29 May Splashback glass we chose was due to be fitted but supplier had produced this in the wrong colour – Intoto picked this up and asked for the work to be re-done and apologised to us. Saturday 16 June Jimmy has fitted all the glass. Our kitchen is now finished and the difference is amazing. Monday 18 June Stuart called to see us by appointment to make sure we liked our new kitchen – which we do. Also we paid the final instalment. We have been given certificates for the electrical and gas work done plus an insurance bond for the work done by trader . trader only use first class people to carry out the work. July 2012 Pleased with our kitchen and the drawer and cupboard space. Choosing 2 ovens is good but having a sink flush with the worktop surface means that water does splash over. We are glad we chose trader and feel that the extra expense was worth it.

Employed trader to renovate a 1 bedroom house. All work was carried out efficiently, to an excellent standard and at a reasonable cost. The property was left tidy at the end of each day. Kevan Copeland, the owner of trader , was easy to deal with and very helpful. Work carried out included digging and tanking out a cellar, building a wall, fitting a kitchen, fitting a bathroom, tiling, plumbing, plastering and creating a pleasant garden area. I am very happy with trader and would definitely recommend them for any house and/or garden related work.

We ordered two splashbacks of varying sizes for our kitchen and hunted through various companies for quotes before we found trader to be the cheapest. They offer a wide range of colours and effects and an instant quote can be obtained on their website which is very straightforward. The splashbacks arrived after approx 3 weeks and they are perfect - they match our Dulux painted walls exactly. We also opted for screw holes to be added as we wanted to attach them to the wall in a less permanent way for the means of removing them if ever the need arises. The company sent mirror screws with the splashbacks and they were easy to mount. Many other companies do not readily show this as an option where mastic is the preferred choice of fixing. The glass was accurate in its dimensions and all the edges nicely polished. Price wise they are very affordable and much cheaper than some of the other quotes we obtained. A great result and a good company to do business with.

We were very pleased with Milestone who supplied and fitted our kitchen a year ago to a high standard - Charlotte or Jan in the shop arranges a home visit by Julian who is the main man. He will be the one doing the work so you're not discussing with a salesman or middleman, and he has all the skills required including fitting a beautiful oak floor. He is keen on eco approaches and was happy to re-use our existing units. Our only major disappointment was the Gorenje oven - not self-cleaning, grill pans warp, shelf design not good.

Peter fitted our new kitchen 3 years ago and has done several smaller jobs since. He is a clean, tidy and experienced worker with an eye for detail. He has a gentle personality and is pleasant to have around the house while working.

Julian did the fitting of our kitchen. He is a perfectionist and always endevours to take the right way rather than the most expeditious way. We are extremely pleased with the quality of his work. Charlotte did the planning for us and was very helpful and very easy to deal with.
