Lovely modern little cafe at the top of Windermere town with ample seating but on a sunny day lovely outside seating in the nice part of town. Friendly efficient staff and they do the best croissants for a lovely continental breakfast.

Been back yet again for the Meal / Cinema Deal and this place just keeps getting better. I am not a veggi but this place is just out of this world for delicious food, outstanding service, pleasant surroundings and a great wine list. reserved seats - this time it was for the ROH screening of Carmen with the swan-song of Carlos Acosta and what a programme. The vegetarian meal is something to enjoy, so go on give it a try you will not be disappointed and it is not expensive now.

Have used them many times. One always has to wait a little as they are obviously made fresh and now they are regularly changing the menu for new additions of pizza "Babushka" is particularly delicious. Their specials menus are always interesting and reasonable priced as their house wines and wines generally. Tuesday nights are particularly quiet at the moment as the lancaster students have not yet descended on the city.

Vegetarian, but not noticeably so. I visit on a regular basis because I have found it consistently good for its food, service and the pleasant ambience.. If we are going to the cinema we book a meal which will then reserve you a seat in the cinema. There are 5 screens with two locations within 5 minutes walk. See map on http://www.zeffirellis.com/location. Last meal Valentine's night 5pm, very busy but all round - excellent.

We have been back for a pizza after the theatre in Lancaster as the closer Pizza Margarita to the Dukes theatre was heaving with customers and they just could not take our booking. So we returned here for a superior pizza as it turned out with lots of toppings filling the entire top. Ok the choice was limited but they had lots of specials and the service was good even though they were busy, an excellent evening. The lighting is a little severe in the main part of the restaurant so lacks a romantic atmosphere but good value of money.

A very convenient for the Dukes theatre for pre theatre meal. However you do need to book for popular days, dates and theatre events. Always allow lots of time as they sometimes have difficulty keeping the pizzas coming especially where big groups of 8 or more have descended unannounced. Pizzas are good and the choice is excellent as special menu for kids.

Back again many times to this duper vegetarian restaurant this time for a live Opera performance screened in the cinema above. Took the option of the Cinema meal deal. The chef never fails to amaze with inventive ever changing menus that are absolutely delicious and that is saying something from a non veggie! This time Moroccan flavours were the menu of the day and the starters and desserts were Aldo amazing. Highly recommended. Remember you do not have to go to the cinema as the restaurant can be enjoye d on its own.

I have been back to check that their pizzas are a good. Well they are. W decided to take our family experts, my niece, partner and demanding kids and all of the pizzas ordered for the 6 of us were super. Good doughy base, not too thinks or hard and over cooked but just perfect - each and every one, the various choices and toppings were tasty and plentiful. He deserts and ice creams were scrummy. For us adults there was a limited BUT good choice of Italian wines of course and very reasonable prices. The coffees were great. What was extra good was that they automatically took the order for the kis to ensure that they did not get bored waiting, and they provided several pizza themed colouring kits for the kids to colour in.that we all thought was very thoughtful of the proprietor who being of Italian descent is already family orientated. A super little selection for the kids specials, a three course meal for them at a very reasonable price of £6. It got a full thumbs up and high fives from the kids with a promise that they want to return, and return in deed we will.

Great little pizzeria which serves delicious pizzas even one with ice cream for children. Caters for oldies like us who just want a coffee and a cake on a Sunday morning, family meals and children's specials. Also a very clean stylish modern decoration that is even a romantic place for couples in the evening. Very friendly staff, well worth a visit.

trader is a good Italian restaurant with a mixture of traditional tables and some large semi-circular stalls for larger parties, and open kitchen to one side - but only in view of a small number of diners.  My favourites, Risotto Al Funghi and Spaghetti Carbonara, are always good - but very extensive menu, and they will mix & match if you choose variations.
