They are friendly and helpful, giving advice on repair if possible rather than replacing with new. They stock all sorts, selling in small quantities if required and also sell good quality perennials and shrubs, compost etc.

Follow up Review: They are a small 2nd/3rd generation family business. They are friendly and very helpful. The head of the business is very knowlegable not only with regard to the tools and equipment that they supply but the work that you intend to use them for. He is always able to offer good sound advice on how to tackle any DIY job and to recommend the best products and tools for the task.

Thanks again to Which? Local. My wide plastic snowshovel split on me whilst clearing my drive after the recent heavy snow and I needed a replacement. I looked on the site; read the two existing reviews; looked at the map and wondered why I could not remember the shop. I rang to check if they had the shovels and, when I got there, I realised I must have driven past it a hundred times over the years. It is in a prominent corner position on the junction of Oxbarn Avenue and Trysull Road. It is very deceptive from the front because it is huge inside - a real Aladdin's cave. I bought my snowshovel (sensibly displayed outside the shop) and also bought a new household hammer and torch, from a good selection of both (including price) to choose from. There is an enormouse stock of goods here. Thanks again to Which? Local (and the two previous reviewers) for directing me to a shop which I should have known about before.
