Andy replaced my old gate with something much stronger, better quality that also looked really good in it's setting. It was professionaly finished. Initial quote took a little while to come through but was worth waiting for.

We contacted Howard to cut back a group of very overgrown and uncared for trees which we had recently gained access to at the back of our property. We were on a time constraint, aswork could not be carried out between March and June, and Howard was exremely accomodating, very knowledgable and helpful and clearly loves looking after trees. The work was awkward to get to, badly overgrown, but Howard did a superb job, consulting with us at all times, and finishing with an excellent standard. We will continue to use him for advice and maintenance of our trees - a real find, left everything neat and tidy, and very reasonable charges. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

We needed a double driveway replaced in front of our garage and new walling in the front garden, and new steps up to our front door. We contacted Chris Edwards at trader because we had seen his work locally and he is on the recommended listings of both Marshall's and Brett. He talked through what we wanted and he gave us good advice about choice of materials and a quote which I thought was quite reasonable, given the amount of work required, although we didn't have a detailed plan of the work. We arranged for a time for the work to be done. When he came to do the work, he brought in his excavator and did a really good job of clearing away the old material and digging out and laying generous foundations. The preparation was meticulous -particularly the depth of the foundations for the block drive. The weather was pretty bad during the time he was with us, so the time taken for the job was more like 2.5 weeks rather than the 2 weeks he had estimated. His tradesmen were all most pleasant and tidy workers and the attention to detail was impressive. The driveway, which slopes, was immacutely levelled with the help of high-tech laser measuring devices. Chris discussed with us one or two details of the design as the work progressed, which was helpful, and he happily took on a couple of smaller jobs in our back garden as extras - a small piece of fencing etc. We are extremely pleased with the finished result and our neighbours are jealous. We have a 5-year guarantee on the work from Brett's and a 10-year product guarantee. Definitely recommended.

Some years ago Paul removed two very large leylandii trees and reduced the hight of a third in my garden. Every year since he has trimmed the remaining leylandii and some other bushes for me. He is very professional and has very good equipment and does a very good job, taking away the trimmings in his lorry. He is also very good value.

Over the past 15 months or so they've significantly improved my lawns with pest and weed killer, grass feed, aerating a very compacted soil, scarifying and removing many bags of moss, and reseeding thin patches. Reliable about times when they come, always pleasant to have around.

I found Karl through Which? Local and he started doing my garden about a month ago. He has done a great job so far. He is a really nice person and gets on and does the work without any fuss or bother. He also seems to know exactly what he is doing with the plants and garden.
