James fitted a new cat flap in a solid wooden door for me. No hassle or messing about he turned up cracked on with the job and tidied up after himself (yes a tradesperson tidying up after themselves!). I am extremely happy with his work and will consider him for any future jobs. He also provided advice re best way to improve my shaded moss growing garden. It appears he does a £10-20/ month maintenance contract (dependant on size) to tidy up my garden and keep it looking reasonable which I think is something to seriously consider fpr spring!

I have used JD Improvements on a number of occasions now. Initially to redecorate my living room and hallway They did an excellant job, subsequently, I had them back to do a variety of jobs such as: Building a breakfast bar Changing my bathroom radiator for a towel rail Laying a laminate floor Built a pergola and decking area outside my backdoor. I was very happy with all the work they undertook. They are a friendly pair taking the time to discuss with me what each job would involve and what options were available to me. They were efficient and reliable, turning up when they said they would and always tidied up after themslves and were definitely value for money.

Andrew cleared my garden of unwanted trees and shrubs, over two days, quickly and efficiently, totally ignoring the bad weather during one of the days. He is very friendly and flexible in his work, modifying his schedule when asked to include additional tasks to those originally agreed.He is also excellent value for money and I will certainly be using him again.

I have been using this family business for many years and they never let me down!Have tried others who have been disappointing. They have just completed an annual hedge trimming and topiary and it looks a treat and the young men Andy and Joel worked hard from 08 30 to 1730 with few breaks but left it immaculate and took all trimmings away plus much that was there before they came. Unqualified recommendation.

Jez turned up on time to give us a quote, which we then received promptly in writing. The job was to repair a botched plastering job to cover up a doorway that was no longer required. He was very professional, clean and tidy. He also rectified the problem without needing to remove the original plaster-work completely which had been recommended by other less reputable plasters. We were so pleased with Jez's work that we called him back to complete some damaged plaster work due to an ant nest and infestation. Highly recommended by both me and my partner.

Replaced cracked slabs on our drive as well as extending the drive. Probably the hardest day's work I've seen anyone do. The finished job was extremely professional. We would certainly use this company again.

We recently did our driveway and patio with this family owned small company. They are in Marshalls register which gives 10year gurantee. Their work was very meticulous and detailed to suit our needs and they were very tidy and polite to us listening to our suggestions and very good finish.They are slow and little expensive compared to two other quotes, but work was of high standard.

Contacted Andy after seeing the reviews. Very pleased with his work and the rate charged. He works quickly and efficiently and is well equipped for the hedge trimming and grass cutting jobs that we asked him to do. After seeing the transformation he accomplished in the initial job we have now agreed a monthly garden maintenance programme with him.

trader has done several pieces of work for us now, and in the process he has helped to transform our garden landscape. He has built lovely stone walls, inset flights of steps and laid pathways/paved areas expertly. He has also rejuvenated tired borders and overgrown hedges. All his work is of the highest standard and he is undoubtedly one of the hardest working people I've come across He is polite and unremittingly cheerful even when working in the most unpleasant weather that Derbyshire has to offer.

David and his son Jason have recently completed extending the crazy paving area in our back garden, renovating a low Macclesfield Stone wall and fitting a combined screen and second entrance gate to our back way. They are exemplary workers, pleasant, hard working and conscientious, always clearing up after their day's work and anxious to cause as little inconvenience as possible. They are also willing to explain what they are doing and to make sensible practical suggestions. The quality of their work is first rate and we can recommend them with total confidence.
