A long established family business who began as growers, a large proportion of their plants are still home grown, but the business has expanded its range. I have used this nursery for many years and find it is far and away the best value in the area, particularly for bedding plants, perennials and roses. I would describe it as a no-frills nursery and not a typical modern garden centre.

The proprietors and staff are most helpful e.g. in terms of their knowledge and advice they are prepared to share on request; have a good range of quality goods at a reasonable price; will deliver locally for a small fee; are firendly and treat us as valued customers.

Have been using this small family run nursery since it opened in 1996. Stephen & wife Kim Rogers have steadily developed their operation & now have daughter Katie working with them. They propogate & grow most of their own plants which are well presented. Adjacent to the plant stock area is a wonderfull garden that displays many of their stock plants. That in itself is worth a visit. Nothing fancy here - it is a nursery not a garden centre. However they had to succomb to being in the 21st century a few years ago by adding on toilet facilities & even a coffee dispensing machine. Excellent range at reasonable prices.
