I started looking for an alternative dry cleaner when I found the big chains (i.e. Johnson's) insisted I sign a disclaimer for damage every time I took an evening dress or suit in. Defeats the object rather! I searched for a dry cleaners with experience of wedding dresses and ball gowns and who had a gentle machine in addition to the standard. Since then we have taken all our dry cleaning to Parker's and they have done an excellent job. Suits look great and evening dresses with beading and embroidery have never been damaged no matter how delicate. They charge much more sensible prices too! We drive from the opposite side of the city to use them and are very happy.

Thoroughly recommended. They dry-cleaned and pressed two hand-made suit jackets superbly and rightly gave me a mild rebuke for using a proprietary cleaner to remove (unsuccessfully) a grease stain - "it just spreads the grease further into the fibres" - true ! Their tailor made sure that the shoulder pads were not displaced in the cleaning process, unlike other cleaners who do not employ in-house experts. I will definitely use them again.

We have used this company for many years both for our own domestic use and for refurbishing our 2 let properties. They have washed or dry cleaned dirty curtains and presented them beautifully ironed at reasonable costs. Our clothes have similarly been very carefully cleaned and on occasions they have re done the article without us asking if they are not satisfied with the finish. It is a family business and very dedicated.
At long last the dry cleaners that have brought this industry into the 21st century, it is clean, tidy and best of all its open plan. You can see your clothes actually being cleaned and pressed. Not like the grubby little dry cleaners of old. Recommend taking your children there as watching the trousers being blown up is great fun. Great quality highly recommended.
