Our Hotpoint washing machine wasn't dissolving the wash tablets we use and it was leaving a soggy mess in the soap dispenser drawer. We called IADOM at 11.30am today. The owner, Mr Banks, arrived at 12.40 after an 4 mile journey! He did several tests after removing the soap drawer and declared the machine OK but told us we were using twice as many tablets as was needed. He recommended placing a single tablet in the drum before loading the clothes or to use powder. He was knowledgeable and very experienced. He charged us £10 for his time and fuel. Superb!

We choose Keith from Which recommendations for a faulty washing machine. As we do not live in Yorkshire (home rented by students) we needed someone that was recommended. We certainly had no worries with Keith. We phoned him and explained the situation to him. He then liaised with the students for access to the home, telephoned us from the house to inform us what was wrong with the washing machine, quoted a price (very reasonable) and fixed the machine immediately. We would definitely use him again. We strongly recommend Keith.

Mr Banyard came promptly to repair our washing machine. He diagnosed the problem speedily and did the necessary repair also speedily. A very clean and tidy workman. Very reasonable cost. Very highly recommended.

We live in Barnsley and Mark made two visits, initially to see the problem with our 20 year old cooker, he then came back to fit a thermostat, spending one and a half hours combining two parts to make a useable thermostat ( this was because they did not now make one for our cooker). He worked efficiently and diligently checking the cooker worked before he departed. We are very pleased with his work and reasonable price and would recommend him with no hestitation.

These Guys are great repairers, my wife has used them for 20 years. We needed their services for a very old washing machine, they came out and this time were unable to fix it as it was a circuit board problem along with the door lock mechanism! Having first wrestled the machine out fitted a new lock only to find the circuit board had blown, they took the new part away cleaned up put the machine back and asked what we would do next? Thinking they were only repairers I said "ask your advice and then go get something you recommend you helped us before and know all these things inside out" they gave lots of advice and were ready to leave when I asked for the Call out BILL £, imagine my surprise when there was no charge as there was no repair. THEY ARE RETAILER TOO I wasn't aware of this but so many customers had asked them to choose a machine for them and supply and fit. They recommended a machine and left it with us to check the prices out and do our research, absolutely no pressure (they also read the which reports as many of their customers do too). He said our prices are REASONABLE! (quoted price includes everything ) They were within a few pounds of all the places I looked at online and off, (after adding all the extra costs to everyone else's HEADLINE grabbing low price). Delivered within a day or two fitted,wired,old hot supply capped properly to stop drips no cardboard boxes to clear,no stabilisers to remove, old machine taken away, place left clean and tidy,instructions on how to use Washing machine BOSCH wea24166 with a demo, more advice on programs and usage, very pleasant guys and very enthusiastic (as was the guy in the shop). NEGATIVES Just found their web site!!!!!THATS IT. They have recently moved and are situated in the town centre next to Yorkshire Bank near the Pelican crossing. Not the biggest of shops but the advice is good and there are great repairers, looked after a very old fridge as well for us for years always quick and reasonable prices.Fridges freezers dishwashers washing machines .....you get the picture Michael

Mr Lau returned my call and came promptly to investigate my dishwasher problem. He quickly found the problem but as the machine was old and the replacement part very expensive, I decided on a new machine. I now know who to contact if anything else goes wrong.

trader came to my house to check my faulty washing machine and gave good advice that it would not be cost effective to repair, he did not charge any money and his recommendation on what make of machine to buy tallies up wich those from 'WHICH'
