Recommended by friend. Having wireless connectivity problem. Phoned Sat a.m. and Martin arrived within 90 minutes. Checked everything and found new router faulty although showing green wireless and internet lights. Very reasonable charge and `phoned four days later to check everything was now up and running with another router.

It is a nightmare when a computer/laptop that you rely on all the time breaks down, as mine did recently. Thankfully, I looked up which?local and found trader . They were helpful and straightforward with their dealings. They have 'no fix, no fee' policy, so there is no need to worry about the cost of diagnosis of the fault. If you are worried about the data on your computer, they can remove the hard disk and give it to you while the computer is with them. I had my laptop back and working in a couple of days at a very reasonable cost. Note that they are closed on Fridays. Overall, highly pleased with these guys!

The hard drive on my Dell laptop failed and if it wasn't for the data loss I probably wouldn't have got it repaired. I contacted Dell who asked for £180+ to simply replace the hard drive (with no data recovery). After looking at the reviews on 'Which Local' I decided to take it into 'Computer Highway.' The service I received was excellent. They explained their repair process in detail, including the (cheaper) cost to replace the hard drive and after repeated efforts they managed to restore all the data from the old hard drive and transfer everything across to the new one. The laptop is now working perfectly and will probably keep going for a few more years. I thoroughly recommend them; friendly professional service from the entire team at a very reasonable price.

T his was the second time we had to contact Ali with a problem on our computer. Similar to the previous occasion, within 24 hours he had visited our home and picked up our computer. During the next week or so, he kept us updated with his progress and eventually brought the computer back. All the problems had been solved and the system was once again free of any virus. We were very happy to have our computer back to normal and especially with the very realistic price Ali charged for his services. We will definitely be using Ali again should we have any further problems.

Contacted Charlie in the morning and he came over that afternoon. He spent at least an hour sorting out the problems that I had had in operating the Mac. In so doing he not only gave a comprehensive tutorial, but also rigged the computer so that it would be easier and quicker for me to use. Offered telephone help in the future. I had to help him decide on a fee for the time he had spent - he wanted to charge too little!

Karen got my PC back running, cleaned it of unnecessary programs and uploaded free security software. The PC is now faster. I learned a lot from her. Some jobs she would even do remotely. I am very glad I found her, as it is not easy to find a PC repair service one can trust.

Doug arrived less than an hour after I called him, to look at a computer that kept freezing. He explored it a bit and then took away the processor. He called later to say he'd bring it back that evening and charged me for three hours' work. He had to uninstall several programs and said it had a virus infection, which he had removed. When he returned it, he spent some time explaining the new software he'd installed and showed me how to run a system backup. The computer now runs fine again. I've already passed his details on to friends who might need his services and will call him again if and when.

Went there about 10 years ago with a list of what I wanted of a computer and had the PC put together according to these details. Fauly items changed without question. Repairs are done on the premises. No fix no fee. "Hands on" advice given free of charge. Always listens to what the customer wants.
