They fixed my laptop which had been badly affected by a virus which PC World had failed to remove effectively. What marks them out from other repairers I've used is (a) I needed my laptop within 4 working days of taking it in - they committed to doing this and sorted it out in 3 days ; and (b) they gave a clear written report of the work they did, what they found and how they fixed it.

Nigel came very quickly, located the fault and our computers were up and running again soon after. He also gave us useful advice on the service provided by BT.

My laptop was running too slowly to use and had developed a number of glitches. The man at Compufix got it running fine again, explained how to stop some of the same problems happening again and installed a better antivirus. He was very friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely keen to do the best he could on it. He only charged £30 and said that if I was not happy with how it was running he would work on it some more at no extra charge.

I went to Nick on recommendation when my computer failed to function. I had been told that, while he might not be the cheapest around, he was definitely one of the best and could be trusted to fix anything fixable, not do anything unecessary and explain everything in plain English! I certainly found all of this to be the case. He was able to come round promptly, diagnose the problem, fix it and only charged for the time it took - no "rounding up" the hours here. All this and he's a very pleasant chap as well! Altogether a very impressive service. He does only work within the Bath, Bradford on Avon, Norton St Philip triangle though, so if that includes you, you can count yourself very lucky!
