Mark Steel was brilliant in every way: from initial telephone consultations to work out what we really wanted (as opposed to what we thought we wanted!), to the actual process of installation. He made the whole process enjoyable and we are 100% pleased with the outcome. Such a relief not to be dealing with the staff at a computer warehouse and the laughably inadequate support we have previously experienced!

My computer gave up the ghost possibly because it couldn't cope with a Windows 10 update. Scott revived it and gave excellent service. I wouldn't hesitate to go back if there are more problems.

I have used this business on many occasions since 2009. They have always come up withthe goods. I have bought 2 computers off them: made to my specifications & they have upgraded my last computer. Their service is fast & efficient but not cheap. The work they have done problem solving seams to have always worked. I trust their oppinion & work.

I decided that it would be preferable to have a new pc built by a local company rather than purchase one from the big names like PC World and Dell. From previous experience I knew that by doing so it is much easier to get problems or issues sorted on a personal basis with the added benefit of helpful advice if needed. I also required everything on my old pc (Windows XP professional) to be transferred to the new pc, together with the installation of Win8.1 and Office 2013. From my first enquiry to the completed job I experienced a very fast, extremely efficient and courteous service. The installation work is charged pro-rata by the hour. I was impressed not only by the speed at which the engineer worked but also by the fact that not one moment was wasted on idle chat or unnecessary work. For example, I was asked if I would be happy reloading certain programs. Without that option the cost of the installation could subtlety have been increased. Another thing that impressed me was the fact that I was not talked down to – I felt I could ask the stupidest question and still be treated with respect. In summary – the engineer certainly ‘knew his stuff’ had an excellent ‘bedside manner’ and left me with a feeling of great confidence in Computer Problems Solutions Ltd. Some additional work that I requested was followed up a week later in the same industrious manner.

My wife's laptop has occasionally done strange things which I put down to finger problems. This allows me to show my superior masculine abilities by removing the battery, counting to ten, replacing the said battery and rebooting. Very technical! This time the wretched thing defied my swearing and threats to throw it out of the window and laid there apparently dead.In desperation I turned to Scott at Compufix. He kept it overnight, did whatever was necessary, told me things I didn't understand and charged me the best £30 I've spent in a long while.Wife thinks I'm very clever for finding Scott.Well done Which? local.

Our computer crashed and Nigel responded very quickly coming out even although it was New Years eve. As the problem could not be rectified on the spot Nigel took the computer for a detailed diagnostic check and identified the damaged part which required replacement. We were informed of the cost of the replacement part and the likely timescale involved. The computer was given a comprehensive check and returned in good working order with the minimum of delay and at a reasonable cost.

I have recently upgraded my desktop PC and used trader because they were listed on the Which ? local site. They were very helpful and were able to provide me with all the advice I needed. When I made a decision to purchase I took my existing PC to the shop and they transferred the data to the new one without any problem. They then delivered and installed the new PC. The engineer sorted everything including application software that I asked him to install. The service was excellent.

I was recommended by a friend to use Robin to help me out removing a virus from my computer. It was a great personal service. The computer was collected and delivered back at my convenience, and it’s like new now. I will be using him again. I just had to come on here to share the knowledge of this great service. He was well worth the money very polite and fast service- five stars from me.
