Repaired an ancient laptop very efficiently. Gave good advice, were very considerate and charged a reasonable price. I was pleased with their service and would certainly use again.

Family run business, Father, Son & Son in Law. Father fixed my lap top ( No fix no fee) which had wine spilt on keyboard & charged what I considered a very reasonable price. The shop also retails white goods & TVs & though they may not be able to compete with the internet on price they will deliver same day & connect your purchase &remove your old item free of charge.

Recommended by friend. Having wireless connectivity problem. Phoned Sat a.m. and Martin arrived within 90 minutes. Checked everything and found new router faulty although showing green wireless and internet lights. Very reasonable charge and `phoned four days later to check everything was now up and running with another router.

The hard drive on my Dell laptop failed and if it wasn't for the data loss I probably wouldn't have got it repaired. I contacted Dell who asked for £180+ to simply replace the hard drive (with no data recovery). After looking at the reviews on 'Which Local' I decided to take it into 'Computer Highway.' The service I received was excellent. They explained their repair process in detail, including the (cheaper) cost to replace the hard drive and after repeated efforts they managed to restore all the data from the old hard drive and transfer everything across to the new one. The laptop is now working perfectly and will probably keep going for a few more years. I thoroughly recommend them; friendly professional service from the entire team at a very reasonable price.

T his was the second time we had to contact Ali with a problem on our computer. Similar to the previous occasion, within 24 hours he had visited our home and picked up our computer. During the next week or so, he kept us updated with his progress and eventually brought the computer back. All the problems had been solved and the system was once again free of any virus. We were very happy to have our computer back to normal and especially with the very realistic price Ali charged for his services. We will definitely be using Ali again should we have any further problems.

My computer had crashed thanks to a huge virus, which Microsoft Security Essentials did not stop. I could not even start to boot it up. I was told about this shop by a friend. They had my computer diagnosed in little, less than an hour. After giving them the go ahead to wipe the hard disk and reinstall, they phoned me to collect it just three hours later. The price for diagnostics was just £15 and the total cost just £65. Brilliant service. They also stock a huge amount of spares and accessories.

My computer was suffering from a very nasty Trojan virus. Alan made an appointment on the same day, and arrived exactly on time. One hour and twenty minutes later my computer was virus-free and working normally. Cost a few bob, though worth the money to get us going again.

I depend on my laptop for volunteer charity work, and as I was on call Boxing Day, it was a potential disaster when Windows Vista failed late on 23rd December. Alan came out immediately, despite the late hour, and tried an on-site fix. A re-install was needed, however, and I had already started to organise a backup PC, but Alan took the machine away and was back the next morning with it, fixed and good as new. Great service and very reasonable charges.

I highly recommend Probus. We needed a graphics card replacement for our HP Pavillion Computer. Keith helped us choose the right replacement part and sourced an additional part for us. He was punctual and polite. His charges were very fair especially given that he needed to visit 3 times to allow for the parts to be sourced.
