Once again Which Local to the rescue. Urgently needing advice for my sick computer I contacted trader and arranged for him to visit after making me aware of his charges. On arrival he set to work and very quickly sorted out my problems and offered sound technical advice. I have no hesitation recommending David who has a very friendly helpful manner and is excellent value.

I had installed Windows 8 and my laptop seemed to lose all my live mail - contacts, messages, calendar etc. Also Word and Excel 2007 stopped functioning. Dell struggled to assist and indicated I would need to purchase a recent version of M/s Office. Mr Singh had the entire problem sorted in 20 minutes. Windows Live Mail is back and Word and Excel are now OK. He is a very pleasant person to deal with, which is also a plus.

PLEASE don`t go to any other computer shop for servicing,buying or whatever.If every other business in the UK was like this,we`d be world beaters as it`s a pleasure to do business with .Ajay,the owner,is brilliant-not only technically (he `cleaned up` my old 10 year old pc that I`d brought back from abroad in 10 minutes) but as a person ; heis customer service and focus on best value for the customer are not waors or `spin` for him-he REALLY does go that extra mile for you...and some more !! At our request he put together a spec for a new pc for us,bought it in and set it all up -at half the price of similar-spec ones we`d seen on the internet.Spend your money here : get brilliant equipment and superb value-for-money service and enjoy working with a real professional ,meant in the most positive way. In short,all the other reviews on here are 100% spot-on.

Had a problem with my old Tashiba laptop not powering up, they tested it and told me it was probably not worth repairing however they managed to repair using a spare part from another machine. Very pleased.

My laptop was dying a slow death for a little while despite my attempts at 'housekeeping'. I was working in the area when I discovered trader . The laptop was collected and returned to me the following day and the problem had been resolved and at a fair price.

Tim is extremely helpful, I have used him for years. His prices are very reasonable, in fact he sometimes doesn't charge for fixing things.

It is quite a distance for us to travel to High Lane, but we found the thorough and knowledgable service well worth the journey.

I have been highly delighted with the service I have received and have no hesitation in recommending them. Computer wouldn't boot up past the Administrator stage asking for a password that I hadn't put in.

I appreciated that he comes to your home as I don't have transport. He was recommended to me by a friend who said 'Liam could fix a computer with his eyes shut'. Very skilled and very friendly. He set up a new computer for me. He listened sensitively to my requests and completed all tasks. It's no fix, no fee and his fixed price of £40 very reasonable. He went the extra mile to advise and help with a dodgy tower support. While he works he demonstrates 'how to' and offers useful tips. I was very pleased with his work and will definitely use his services again.

Wow!! what more can I say about this company, the other reviews are spot on. My son had an issue with his laptop screen flickering. After reading other reviews took it to Knight computers. Gave a very clear guide to the possible causes and the price each level of repair would take, also said if in the unlikely event of not being able to repair there would be no fee. They rang within 24 hours to say the computer was ready, plus the charge was for the bench fee only - very reasonable.( almost pocket money for a young person). On collecting the laptop we were told if the problem re occurs to take it back and the "bench fee" would be discounted from any further repair should it be required. Excellent customer service. My son use to have a service contract with "The tech guys" shhhh you know who!! but cancelled it after a one day job taking 3 weeks, and badly scratched the lid - they insisted it was like that when they took it in for repair!! He is now saving a small amount each month should he require the lap top repairing again, if not then he will have a sizable amount towards a new computer in a couple of years time. One very good moral from this - when buying a new computer forget about the extended warranty, save the money earn some interest on it and if anything goes wrong in or out of warranty take it to Knight Computers the bench fee will be far cheaper than you would pay with a high street chain. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends. The shop is near to Sale leisure / town center end of Northenden road.

The guys in here are great, they seem to know everything, soooo clever! Really good service, no hard sell & genuinely very helpful. Highly recommend.
