Wonderful, friendly, arrived early! I was unavoidably left with half a new central heating system installed in a rental house - the boiler needed to be attached to newly installed pipework, flue to be drilled through a thick wall, and electrics connected. Another plumber on this list (won't let me name them) was very sniffy, not enough to make it worthwhile doing. WR Sowden came round, viewed what had been done, and gave a fair estimate on the cost of finishing the job. The came two days before they'd promised, and charged a fair price, as agreed plus a couple of unavoidable extra's. Well recommended, and will be using again for annual checks.

Came round almost straight away on a Saturday evening when our Carbon Monoxide alarm went off. Fully tested everything, can't fault this service. Will definietly use trader again

I obtained five quotes and chose Evershield as I was impressed with Peter Burnell, who came to assess my requirements and quoted a good price. The fitters came a week later (Dave and Luke) and spent two days fitting the new Vaillant combi-boiler, and removing all the tanks and old pipework. Both were pleasant and polite and took pains to keep the disruption and dirt to an absolute minimum. They made what I thought might be a disruptive process very simple and I would recommend them to anyone.

I have used this father and son team on numerous ocasions and they always give sound advice with a slant on the right price, always leaving the decision to you. I have no problems asking them to call to service my boiler knowing there will be no hidden costs and any job will be fitted in as soon as possible.

Used Andy last month to fit new automatic washing machine for the first time as previously it was a a twin tub so some new plumbing needed. Andy came promptly at the time arranged and gave quote. This was for an elderly lady he went out of his way to assist her and cleaned all the kitchen for her at a reasonable price, she would use him again if needed, a very polite young man.

I had a faulty boiler last year over the winter which they fixed with minimal fuss and for a good price. Very professional from my first phone call to turning up when they said they would, to tidying up after the job. Would definitely use them again and happy to recommend them to other people on this site.

We used Mike to replace our whole central heating system and do the plumbing in our new extension. From the start he listened to our needs and provided advice to ensure we got what we wanted. He knows his stuff and really takes pride in his work which is rare from my experience. The pipework around the boiler is definitely a work of art! I found Mike to be honest, reliable and hard working and I won't be using anyone else from now on

Andy fitted a new shower for me, very promptly and at reasonable cost. He gave good advice on this matter and came out again, very quickly and at no extra charge, to fix a minor problem. His standard of workmanship is very good and he will only recommend work be done when it is genuinly needed. I have no hesitation in recommending his service - I feel he is someone you can trust.
