Andrew (and Arthur) have just completed a couple of jobs or me - condensor overflow pipe and external pipework, outside tap, earth bonding on boiler. He was so very organised and methodical - really reassuring that he thought through all possibilities before hand and was prepared for any issues which arose. The most clean & tidy workman I have ever encountered, and so very polite with text updates when he was delayed by 15 mins. Very professional, very thoughtful about the most efficient and quality way to complete the job; happy to answer any questions and explain in full. Came back to complete the work after 8pm (having sourced the missing part) because he knew I needed everything completed to a very tight deadline. Thorough, knowledgeable, professional - 100% recommend.

I needed a Landlord Certificate for a property. TGA Plumbing were very reliable and turned up on time. I found the plumber to be very polite and price of work was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Manzoor and his colleague came round to relocate a radiator for me. I shortlisted a few plumbers from Which? Local and selected Manzoor because he'd given a competitive quote and demonstrated that he seemed to know what he was talking about. I'm glad I did. Manzoor was reliable, professional and friendly. He and his colleague worked efficiently and did a tidy job with the chipboard they had to take up and then replace. I would gladly recommend him.

Rajan came to my flat within an hour of calling him, told me I needed a new boiler which I suspected and was then able to put it in on a Sunday two days later. I was happy with the quality and speed of the job, and the cost was competitive. I would use him again.

First time we've used Which local. Called Rajan this afternoon, he came to see us this evening. Spent an hour helping us track down a very puzzling leak, and recommended a colleague who would be better placed to fix it for us (Rajan specialises in gas engineering), and who has already been in contact. Reluctant to take any payment because he felt he hadn't really done anything. We disagreed! Excellent service, and will definitely be keeping his number for the future.

No heating or hot water - plumber attended same day. Unfortunately it was too late to buy the pump part required but he came next day at agreed time (infact was early). Advised that not whole pump was required, just front part so didn't pay more than I had to. For 2 visits, 50 minutes in total, labour was £50.

Richard thoroughly deserves all the very favourable reviews he has recieved.In my experience, since 2008 to the presentday, of his work and attitude towards his clients they are no more than the truth.He has recently replaced our boiler and I can recommend his services without reservation.

I thought I might have needed a new boiler and was about to invest a significant amount of money, but after finding Joanna on Which local a phonecall assured me it was likely to be a broken fan and that the boiler I had was pretty reliable and shouldn't need replacing. The repair was all very painless and a lot of money was saved :-)

We were having trouble with our rather old boiler and picked Joanna on the basis of the reviews here and her living fairly nearby. She did a wonderful job and the boiler is working better than ever now. Like the reviewer below, it wasn't actually the boiler that was the problem, but in our case a faulty valve in the timer switch mechanism. Her diligence has saved us a load of money not replacing it before we move house this summer hopefully - so much so, we even rounded the bill up by £10 as a thank you.

Richard Ward of Redhead Solutions My partner’s heating failed on a very cold Saturday afternoon in January. I checked the Which site and we decided to try Richard Ward. Richard, although away for the weekend came to see her as soon as he got back on the Sunday evening and fixed the problem in a few minutes charging a very reasonable sum, as he said he had not done much! He also explained that the boiler might need a new part or might need to be replaced (it was 17 years old) and the best thing to do was monitor it. He also gave advice on how to manage a pressure problem if it should reoccur. His approach was very clear and straightforward. However, the boiler progressively deteriorated in subsequent weeks and so my partner agreed to Richard’s suggestion that he should try a relatively cheap solution first by fitting a new part, knowing that if this did not work the boiler would have to be replaced. As it transpired the boiler did need to be replaced. A quote arrived promptly and was very competitive. But the final cost was in fact less. To tide her over during a very cold patch until he could fit the new boiler, Richard leant my partner temporary heaters for 8 days and then came to fit the new boiler on Good Friday arriving at 8.00am and finally finishing about 9.0pm. He returned the following Tuesday to commission the boiler etc and deal with a few outstanding matters. My partner and I unreservedly recommend Richard. His prices are fair and he is a pleasant person to have working in your house. He is excellent at explaining issues and problems in simple terms to non-technical people. His standards of workmanship are very high and he is highly reliable. My partner has asked Richard to service her new boiler in future and this will be at a much more reasonable price than British Gas. Because she is so pleased with his work to date she has asked him to modernise her bathroom.
