Following my previous job, I arranged for trader to refurbish the kitchen. They did a 5* job and again were a pleasure to work with a t a veryy competitive price.

After phoning up for a quote for a boiler service, I mentioned I also had a few parts which might need replacing. After telling Gary(?) which boiler I had he mentioned he'd removed the exact same boiler a few days prevoiulsy so would bring it with him as it was still in good working order. He ended up giving a very reasonabley priced service and replacing a few parts from the spare boiler at no extra charge. Saved me a load of money I am sure!

A well established company offering home heating advice and providing an expert boiler installation service. Perhaps not the cheapest around, but they offer advice you can trust with friendly, trustworthy & proficient teams working in your home.

Ben supplied and installed a replacement boiler in Nov 2012 at a competitive price. I was pleased with the installation and have recommended him to friends.

Mr Bell responded instantly to further emergency cause by United Utilities work in the area. He came late evening and got my water on again, diagnosed the issue with my unvented hot water and returned later to replace the TPR. He proved to be correct over against the Water Company's engineer and his thorough knowledge of oil, LPG, gas central heating systems appears outstanding. I am posting again because it is useful to know that he is now Honeywell trained and also services gas and oil AGAS which is a rare service in the North West.

Mike came to look at my boiler and gave me his opinipon on the problem free of charge. He then told me that my best bet would be to go to Worcester directly because it would be cheaper (as a new circuit board and pump may be needed and I would get all parts and labour in one from Worcester under one price). He was friendly, knowledgeable and I'm sure other repair men may have ripped me off by attempting the job (this job could have been £400+, especially with British gas). He even gave me the number for Worcester.

Whilst tidying a flower bed we bent & fractured a gas pipe joint which required the supply to be turned off. A local gas fitter quoted for the work but then went missing and didn't return our calls. trader (BM) restored our central heating & cooking facilities within the day and set a date to replace the damaged pipework which was duly repaired. Having been let down once, BM's prompt and businesslike approach was most welcome. The charges were not unreasonable. BM was recommended to us by our son in law.

I have had work done at my property by this plumber on more than one occasion. My experience of this person is that he is honest, reliable and carries out work at a reasonable price. I would recommend Essential Connections without hesitation.

Despite the last two negative reviews on him on Which Local website I called Stephen to restart my old but still realiable boiler (broke down for the first time in the last 15 years!). And I made the right choice! He was very professional, friendly and the job has been completed as he promised - for a very reasonable price. He is returning next week to undertake a full service of the boiler and adjust my radiotors before the winter! I look forward to it!
