Rob fitted our living room and hall with a new solid oak floor. We purchased the floor from a manufacturer and Rob was recommended to fit it. He not only collected the flooring but gave us excellent advice on the new skirting boards and finishing touches around the fireplace and in the doorways which we were not advised on by the supplier. Rob has learned his trade from his Dad and his work ethos of making a job as perfect as can be is absolutely fabulous - there is not a single straight wall in our house yet the floor looks immaculate. Rob and his brother were hard working and cheerful and definately gave value for money. Rob also supplies and fits carpets, cutting out the cost of a shop and guaranteeing quality carpet fitted correctly. We are having new carpets upstairs in the new year and it will definately be Rob doing them!

I can't add much to the other reviews except to agree with the comments. Excellent service at a fair price. We had vinyl flooring laid in a new shower room. He covered the floorboards first with boarding before laying the vinyl which made a superior job due to the state of the old floorboards. The result was very satisfactory.

This is a one man business, doing work for shops and independantly. Alan came out to fit a bedroom carpet. His first job was to unroll the carpet and re-roll is so that the pile would be in the other direction, facing towards the door. I've never known another fitter do that! It was a difficult job, with an exceptionally heavy bed which eventually he took apart (and put back together for us). The extra work meant the job took over two hours, yet he stuck to his original quote, made over the phone. Alan was courteous and hardworking and very appreciative of the drinks we provided beauase it was such a very hot day. I would highly recommend him. He certainly knows his stuff and did a fabulous job in difficult cirumstances and with a VERY expensive carpet!

I needed to replace my kitchen flooring which we had for some years. I was astonished to find the new same floor still available after all these years. As we are going to fit it ourselves, the sales man knocked some money off and threw in the glue to stick it down. Excellent personal service with a family feel.

We recently moved home having had quite a bit of work done before we actually moved in. We had been let down by the company planning to lay the vinyl flooring in the kitchen and utility room and had to arrange something pretty quick. trader was just round the corner, and simply on the basis of the good review we found in Which? Local, we took the business to Tom. A bit impulsive, perhaps, but Tom did a fantastic job. We can't believe he got round all the intricate corners with a single 4 metre wide sheet, 6.3 metre length - perfect fit. A good price, too. We cannot recommend Tom highly enough.

We've used this business twice now and found them helpful and friendly when choosing the carpet. The fitters were punctual and efficient and the prices were very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

George cheerfully refitted spare carpet to our stairs, landing and a bathroom, and made a very good job of it, putting in new underlay where necessary, making sure floorboards were properly held down (no more creaks). He was very pleasant to deal with, and anxious to cause the minimum disruption while he worked.

We have had a carpet supplied and fitted by trader ,good quality and competitive price -no hidden extras. They have also supplied and fitted a laminate floor to our hall,kitchen and utility, to an excellent standard,again at a keen price. Good customer service and advice.
