Approached to lay a quality laminate floor in a new conservatory (4mX4m). We were all very Impressed with the price/speed/quality of work and after-care offered. He even dropped some cardboard off at the tip for us! Kind as well as professional - thank you very much indeed.

Really friendly, un-pressured and professional advice when helping to choose the carpet. Choice of an impressive range at various prices, but was offered a remanent that fitted the bill perfectly at a great price. Carpet fitter was brilliant and sorted out a badly fitting stair carpet on the same visit for a small extra cost.

I am happy to recommend Mr Sisley as a carpet fitter. He quoted over the phone, arrived on time, brought everything he needed with him, and worked quickly. He laid a runner up my stairs and fitted carpet on 2 landing areas. He removed a door for me and helped me carry it downstairs and outside. He gave me advice on fitting my stair clips and was very knowledgeable about fitting carpet and matching the patterns. His price was very reasonable and he even cut and reused my existing grippers. I needed some threshold grips and he supplied these for me for a small fee. He cleared up after the job and I have kept his business card. Top notch work. NB: Mr Sisley advised me that he will consider travelling outside of his area for customers.

Fringes cut and whipped a stair runner for me. (Whipping is the sewing of thread around the edges of the cut piece of carpet, to prevent it fraying). It also offered to cut the piece of carpet off the roll for me, saving me a difficult and most unwelcome job. The result was fantastic, the owner's knowledge of carpets and rugs was impressive, the service excellent, and the price surprisingly modest. In addition, Fringes stocks a range of fabulous rugs. Be aware that Fringes is ABOVE the carpet shop on the Ground Floor. You need to go up the stairs on the left once you have walked in.

trader is a very skilled carpet and hard floor fitter. He is easy to deal with and very reliable. He does actually come when he says he will and does a good job. He is very tidy and has very good attention to detail. He has recently set up on his own having worked for a carpet shop for some years. He can supply carpet and underlay if required but is equally happy to fit customers own carpet or adapt carpet. He is not cheap but he is very good and above all reliable.

Renovated old oak flooring and matched with old oak as necessary. Repaired "plumbers holes" beautifully. Luke Goldswain and his brother really like wooden floors and this shows in their work. Modern equipment means very little sanding dust.
