Having carpet fitted to a house is stressful enough but while you are trying to move in or just before is a real pain - it was made really easy and simple by dealing with Tony. Hewitt have recently fitted a carpet, and their service was excellent - they went out of their way to meet our request for a difficult-to-get carpet, which they ordered, delivered and laid exactly when we needed it. They kept us informed throughout, turnd up when they said they would, and did a quick and neat job of laying - with no fuss made about moving heavy furniture, taking away the old carpet etc.

I have used trader for carpets on two occasions in the last few years and more recently for amtico flooring in my kitchen. The service has always been reliable, professional and of a high standard. They seem very knowledgeable about the pros and cons of different types of flooring and offer a wide variety for a small shop!

I had terrible problem with condensation damaging the wooden floors in my flat. Bob was very generous with his time in coming to review the problem, suggesting solutions and then implementing. A very tidy worker and a good job.

Jim sanded repaired and made beautiful, old floorboards. All who have seen it cant believe it's just floorboards. Can't recommend him highly enough, he also brought to my attention that there was a gas leak. That has been sorted so it's another plus for Jim. Would employ him again at a heartbeat. We've used trader twice now after seeing the reviews on Which Local. Anthony Mason is every bit as helpful as the previous reviews state. We live in Wales but the flat we needed work on was in Greenwich. We went up to meet a floor technician there for the initial assessment but after that I posted the keys to Anthony and his people went in and fixed the problem for us. It was only a £200 job but you would have thought we'd spent ten times that given the level of service. We returned to him when we needed carpets for the flat, which was the last job in a renovation project before the flat went on the market. Again it wasn't the biggest of earners for him but he recommended a really reasonably priced carpet and they went in to fit it the following day. On this occasion, I'd given them the keys when we'd ordered the carpet and the technicians kindly dropped them off at the Estate Agents for us to save us a job. We would return to him again without reservation. My parents are looking for a new sofa so I've sent them to look at Anthony's furniture because the quality of workmanship is excellent and the customer service outstanding.

Alan, Kindly fitted a carpet we already had supplying grippers and underlay on the Sunday between Christmas and New Year. He was reliable and did a very professional job and we are pleased with the result and the price was reasonable. We would recommend him to others.

I strongly recommend Classic Kitchens, from the start to the finish they are highly professional. In the work they did for us on our kitchen there isn't a single aspect to fault. They do not rush any aspect, from the consultation through to the installation, they work with you all the way. Management normally gets most of the credit, and theirs is very good indeed, but I'd like to express how excellent their fitters were. You could not ask for more conscientious, neat and tidy people. A pleasure to have them in our home.

Ricky from trader Limited did an excellent job refurbishing my Victorian wooden floors. Ricky discussed the job with me on-site, and provided a comprehensive quote which detailed exactly what he planned to do in each room and the cost of the materials involved for each task. The job involved sanding, staining, sealing the gaps, and varnishing. Additionally, Ricky took up many of the boards to allow them to be moved closer together to reduce the larger gaps. Where possible Ricky repaired the damaged boards; where this was not possible he laid new, matching boards which were delivered to my property 3 weeks before the job was due to start to ensure they had acclimatised properly. It was wonderful to see the pride and commitment of this company in action. Ricky was a pleasure to have around the house; always cheery, polite and punctual. Ricky performed some extra tasks without additional charge. For example, he cut a load of wood fillets (which I had thrown away by mistake), and happily worked with my plumber to remove some extra boards so they could locate my mains water pipe. Did a simple, small job (fitting some remnant carpet in a small room) in an efficient and professional manner, and for a price that was not only reasonable, but also lower than he suggested over the phone.

Bob did a wonderful job on our grotty old floorboards. They look gorgeous and the house is much warmer for having had the gaps between the boards filled. Have a look on the website which shows the work he does very helpfully. He was really considerate about working round small babies, causing minimum upheaval.
