I now have a Honda and I previously had a Peugeot, both of which are makes in which they have specialist experience. I was first recommended to Victory by a taxi-driver, which I thought was impressive. That was several years ago and I have used Victory ever since. They have been unfailingly reliable; have always given me good advice, even when it meant that I might spend less money with them; and are a pleasure to deal with.

Follow up Review: Really user friendly--you feel Tony knows your car and wants you to enjoy driving it. On the practical side, when it needs service /repair, if i drive to the garage i am always taken home[or other destination]. When the car is ready it will be returned to me at home. If i do have to wait at the garage there is always coffee and chat available. Small jobs are willingly done-on the spot -at no charge eg last month the front of my car was badly "wounded" because i had mounted a pavement when reversing and ripped the front nearly off. I took the car to trader and had to leave it with him--I was not home at the end of the afternoon , but returned to find my car in my drive, damage repaired. i think they were able to push it together--and they made no charge. Tony is equally good to his staff who work happily for him. One lunch hour i had called in to ask Tony to check my tyres--while there it started to rain heavily; i was having a coffee while one of the lads did my tyres and heard Tony on the phone asking Louise, [who worked in the office] where she had gone for lunch, because it was raining and he'd come and pick her up. No wonder it's a happy place for both staff and customers

Have used them several times now, for service and MOT and have found them to be reliable and trustworthy. They always try to help out if they can and even offered to come to my house when my battery was flat (although I do only live 4 or 5 roads away from them, but was still nice to offer).

Very good. The windscreen wiper on my old car was getting stuck and I was afraid that it would require a costly motor replacement, which is what they feared too. 30 minutes later they call me to say that it's all fixed - dried grease in the motor was the problem. So they cleaned it out and relubricated it and all it cost me was half hour labour - will definitely use again.

This is a proper, traditional-style local garage staffed by nice, clued-up and helpful blokes. We think it's wonderful.

Liam is a mobile mecanic, so when i had trouble with my car I made a call and liam came to me fixing the car on site and at a very good price. I am very wary of mecanics but Liam was exellent. I would recommend him to anyone. A good, honest mecanic is what all motorists need.

Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! Entirely customer focused! My family and I have used them for years and am continually impressed with their cheerful, helpful natures, their knowledge & experience and their desire to always make sure the customer is happy. As other reviewers have testified advice is freely given but work is only carried out on the customer's instructions and charged accordingly. Most competitively! Can't recommend highly enough!!!

My wife and I just had both our cars serviced at Green Man and they have been nothing but friendly, helpful and efficient. Everything was clearly explained and you do feel that you are getting a service from people who really take pride . Will certainly be returning next year

Danny is down-to-earth and very helpful indeed. I have taken my car for a main service with MOT and a number of other problems over the past year and they have all been efficiently tackled and very good value. As a woman I don't find him condescending or patronising, nor do I feel I am being take for a ride.

An excellent car mechanic who is not scared to embrace modern technology but still relies on his own experience and expertise. I have been using him since he started on is own some 25 years ago. Nothing is too much trouble or too little. If you have an urgent problem Mike will always try to accommodate you at short notice.
