I have now used trader some 1/2 dz times for MOT's, repairs and to assist clients of mine who had car problems while visiting my address. At all times the service has been very polite, prompt and also much cheaper than we have had from other local garages. An issue that required 5 visits to another local garage without being solved was sorted out by Simon and his team within half a working day, including sourcing the required parts. Parking on-site is a bit limited and the premises may look a bit dodgy - but believe me these guys know their job and combine it with superior customer service.

I took my Mondeo for MOT last year and they charged me over £1000 for repairs without consulting me first. Their hourly rate was £75 - be very careful I'll never use them again.

The only garage I know that doesn't do that 'oh you must be stupid because you're a woman' thing. That is so intimidating. Also prices are very reasonable.
