Located this garage on Which Local. Although fully booked for the day (a recommendation in itself), they agreed to fit in my puncture repair; carried out efficiently and inexpensively at the appointed time by very pleasant staff.

Besides doing cheap, but good, car body repairs, this garage run by two brothers, also does servicing, mechanical repairs and can arrange MoTs. Don't be put off by the rundown surroundings of this backstreet garage. They maybe cheap, but they're very good. I have been using them for both our cars for a couple of years now since Craighall Garage closed.

Stein's is an independent family run garage that prides itself on customer service as well as the quality of the work itself. The garage also has strong links to other independent firms, eg, tyres, body work, valeting, and so can offer a full wraparound service as required. They pride themselves on being competitively priced and regularly have special offers on their web page as well as other offers for their regular customers and Facebook followers. Stein's is particularly good at "not talking down to" female customers (not always the case with other garages). I've recommended them to many people and all have been more than happy with the service they received.

I've used Kingdom Auto for about 10 years. Always very happy with the service. Prices always seem reasonable - much better than dealerships. I've had a few occasions where I needed urgent repairs carried out - they've always managed to fit me in. They are interested in making an effort for their customers. Would definitely recommend them!

I have used Mr Doig for many years and always have found him and his staff to be fair and reliable. He no longer does MOT's but sub contracts. He is now selling good value tyres. He is trustworthy and honest. Usually he can give a price before any work commences. Once he starts the job and finds the work is going to be more than he expected, he will telephone you for approval.
