A number of years ago I bought my son a Ford Fiesta from this garage. It soon became apparent that the engine suffered from a serious oil leak resulting in the engine being replaced. No attempt was made to charge for this costly repair and the engine performed perfectly until my son obtained a newer vehicle. Recently (i.e. 2012) my car (purchased from another garage) developed a potentially dangerous problem when the glow plug loom developed an electrical fault . As I was reluctant to drive the vehicle, I contacted Pick Arthey and they kindly arranged to collect the car and carry out the necessary repair. I have also used them for servicing over the years and have always found them to be competent and courteous. I would definitely recommend them.

Excellent service. Came out twice to fix none-starting vehicle. Fitted a new battery. Drove vehicle to workshop to test the electrics. A few days later I returned to pay the bill, and was only charged for the new battery, not for labour, etc. Very trusting and exeptional service. This was the first time I had been to the garage, they didn't know me.

I was recommended this garage by a fellow mechanic some years ago, as he was moving away from the area. Was told that they were honest and would be reasonable. In the years' since that recommendation I have not been disappointed and just cannot fault them. They will always explain of any work that needs to be done. Family run business husband, wife and son, which I also like as they will always help each other and work together very well

One year ago we had occasion to call out the AA. Their rep led us to this garage until I purchased the current car I had very few occasions to use a garage. Of the three I have used since, this one is by far the best for reliability and honesty.

I have been using this local garage for a number of years; They are helpful, efficient, and do what they say they'll do, when they said they'd do it, and at the price they said they'd do it for, without a sharp intake of breath. It's the best garage I've come across in 35 years of motoring up and down the UK.
