trader is a trustworthy and honest place to have your car serviced, MOT'd and repaired. This garage is one of the few I have been to that gives you an excellent service without trying to sell you loads of new parts that you do not need.

I have used this garage since 2002 when they gave me a free safety check on my first car which was 13 years old. Since then they have kept me on the road with all 6 vehicles I have owned, including a 22 year old one I own currently and just won't let go of! Prices are always reasonable, and they will always somehow manage to sort out a repair, even when parts are hard to come by due to the age of the vehicle.

Earlier today, I discovered a slight banging noise coming from the underside of my car (which is regularly mot'd/serviced by Alan Sproul). Immediately went to the garage and had it investigated. Turns out that the exhaust guard had come loose, owing to corrosion. Necessary work was carried out within minutes - and I wasn't charged a penny (as I was a regular customer).

Have used them for last three Merc C services and MOT all with no drama and good work and price. They have recently expanded a little. Only problem is the one way lane and road system,lane parking bollards,and sharp turn in/out of the workshop, all of which can be avoided by asking for pick up and delivery!

After reading the reviews here, I booked my car in for a service and MOT. Alan was able to offer me a slot the next day. The service was excellent, no hanging about, the staff acknowledged me as soon as I arrived. When I collected my car, I received a detailed break down of the services carried out along with recommendations and advice for the coming winter months. I drive an automatic car, and the cost of an MOT and Service was £180 far better than the big name garages or dealership prices.

Absolutely honest, fair prices, friendly local service from the nicest mechanics in the business. Very highly recommended for any servicing requirements you might have, but specialise in Citroens and various classic cars.

Very quick and well done jobs. They also give advice about the best and cheapest way something should be done. Rough and ready but well worth it. We have used them several times for minor repairs, but they do do major jobs as well.

This garage carried out a service plus additional end extensive brake work to my motor home and I was highly impressed with the thoroughness applied to the task. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to explain what had been done and why. No fancy showroom here just good old fashioned customer service at very reasonable prices.
