we've used this garage for nigh on 30 years now, at their other premises too when they first started up,always excellent info.and explanations given for works needed and do not try to flog you something you don't need! very reasonable rates .efficient and the staff [especially Stefan who will really go that extra mile to help,bosses son i think?] are always helpful and courteous.I recommend them to everyone locally as there aren't many garages you can use reliably year on year, without feeling ripped off or as if you're being treated as a cash cow!!

I have just discovered Crown Garage. My Toyota Auris needed a new water pump. Toyota quoted me £370 on the basis that "although it's a 6 hour job, they can do it in 3". Crown had never done one before - so thay couldn't guarantee 3 hours. But that's what they achieved. Result = bill for £225. I've never been happier to pay a garage bill. Wish I'd discovered them earlier.

My family and I have taken our cars and vans to GRS for approx. 14 years and we have always been extremely happy with the service we get. Graham (the owner) will test and repair things rather than replace parts just in case they were faulty. We have always found him very reasonable for price too.

My experience endorses the foregoing reviews. They will improvise by fixing parts where this is feasible rather than simply replacing them with new ones, as is the usual practice with main dealers. Their knowledge is impressive and they are enthusiastic in their work. Furthermore they have all the diagnostic and specialised equipment appropriate to Volvos. They are pleasant, helpful, honest and straightforward: I recommend them unreservedly.

Very helpfull will go out of their way to help you. I had a sevice on my Volvo and they found a crck in the sump a new on would have cost £200 but the found a replacement 20 miles away for £80 and only charged £10 for collecting and fitting
