Car repairs, servicing, MOTs & garages near Chigwell, Essex

Being new to the area I was a little unsure where to get an MOT and service for my car. After reading the reviews on Which? Local I decided to make trader part of my shortlist. When visiting the workshop I found the team to be friendly and the garage nice and clean, as a result I decided to try them out. I was very happy with the service and have comfort in knowing my car is in good hands. trader is now my local garage for all my motoring needs.

Just used this garage for the second time - the first time for a repair and this time for annual service. Work appears to be of a high standard, fully explained and you definitely get the feeling that you are not being misled, taken for a ride etc.

My car would not start when I was visiting friends in Ilford.They recommended Ray Swinchatt of trader who immediately came out and got my car started.I then asked him to carry out other non urgent repairs which he did to my entire satisfaction at a far more reasonable cost than I would have paid at home.He was extremely courteous and efficient and I could not recommend him more highly.

Very friendly service, work was done quickly and with plenty of info provided. Will definitely be my garage of choice from now on for repairs, services and MOTs. Would definitely recommend to others.

Very trustworthy. My sons Toyota Yaris had a fault alert that indicated something complicated. They fixed the fault - which was a disconnected cable and charged £20! MOTs are very fair - never does unnecessary work and points out any problem areas

This is a small garage run by Jeff & an assistant. He is very honest, very thorough and very painstaking. He can take a long time to service a car.
