A great example of a good independent garage who do good work without charging the earth. Service is friendly and personal and the standard of work is good. I have been using this garage for 21 years. Where they really stand out is how they will help in a 'situation' - I turned up just before 5 o'clock on a Friday with a battery well half-full of water. The proprietor got in the boot with a torch while one of the others sprayed the side of the car with a jet washer to show the leak. The body man, who works on a Friday night, repaired it that night for £20. I was very pleased with the whole deal, but mostly with the willingness to help at a time when they were probably inclined to the pub rather than some bloke who turns up at closing time.

First class VW franchise. Car service very good and nothing is any trouble to them. They really value your custom and look after you. The car is always washed after servicing and they did vacuum my car on the last service. I have bought 5 VW's from them on the strength of their customer service.

Great service and reliable, did an MOT on the car, couple of jobs needed doing so booked it in two days later with no hassle all jobs were done to a high standard . I would fully recommend parkers garage.

Honest and straightforward small business. Used for the first time (based on above "Which?" recommendations) to carry out service and MOT on my 11 year old Toyota Avensis. Although not an official MOT test station, Tom uses the services of an adjacent Test Station just a few units away at the same location for a discounted price (£30)...which he passes on to the customer. Happy to recommend to others and will use Tom again as and when the need arises. Simon Taylor

Although I had seen their newspaper adverts I had no knowledge of this Ford dealership until I contacted them in my search for a nearly-new car. So I had no opinion on this dealership before making contact. It is a small group of sites and is not so oppressive as the other main Ford dealerships in the north-east - more of a family-business feel. I cannot fault them on any aspect of my purchase from initial phone call to driving away with my (excellent) buy. Very courteous, helpful as in all dealers, but straightforward talking, and no pushy sales techniques. Very highly recommended on sales. I have no experience of their servicing standards but fully intend using them as I really cannot see this culture being any different on that side of the business.
