I have used this garage for 10 years and have always had outstanding service as well as value for money, for servicing, repairs and MOTs. His labour charges are reasonable and he will deal with most makes of vehicles using genuine new parts. I most strongly recommend Dougie Bond.

My uncle has used Doug Bond (of trader ) for 20-odd years and has been very happy with him. I moved to the Cheltenham area a couple of years ago and he has been looking after my car since then, too. Doug and the other mechanics are nice blokes who look after you properly and don't try to rip you off. I've even asked him if he'll do the servicing on our work brushwood chipper! I'm pretty sure the service agent padded our last bill - whereas I trust Doug. He's even willing to do little jobs for us that nobody else is interested in at a reasonable price - like doing some welding repairs on our work wheelbarrow. I've no hesitation in recommending them.

I have now used trader some 1/2 dz times for MOT's, repairs and to assist clients of mine who had car problems while visiting my address. At all times the service has been very polite, prompt and also much cheaper than we have had from other local garages. An issue that required 5 visits to another local garage without being solved was sorted out by Simon and his team within half a working day, including sourcing the required parts. Parking on-site is a bit limited and the premises may look a bit dodgy - but believe me these guys know their job and combine it with superior customer service.

Presented car with rattling suspension. Fault identified as loose nut and fixed at cost of Pound 24. No attempt at selling me unnecessary suspension components or long labor times.

Over the last three weeks we have had four occasions to need the services of trader and on each occasion the service has been professional, the price fair (once even less than initially quoted) and customer service second to none. This was especially true when a part they used had a manufacturing fault and needed replacing again. The mechanic stayed behind on a Saturday to fix the problem which meant that along planned family visit was still possible. Clearly a place where staff are proud of their work and dedicated to provide excellent customer service!

Very prompt and helpful service. Although not a garage, they supplied and fitted a new brake light bulb and still gave a discount on the MOT. Clean premises.

I have been using this company for servicing my volvo car since May 2006.It is a small family business, but in December 2010 the business was taken over by the brother of the original owner and a second business partner. Both of the new owners spent many years working for a local Volvo Main Agent so they have great experience to hand primarily for Volvo cars, although I understand they will now also undertake some other makes. Being a small business they are keen to look after you and I can certainly say they have saved me a lot of money over the main agents.The new owners are friendly and helpful so I have no hesitation in recommending them particularly if you own a Volvo.

This garage has looked after my Seat for 3 years ; ever since a ldealer gave me an astronomical quote for diagnosing a problem which they couldn't do for 2 weeks. trader diagnosed and fixed the problem in 5 minutes for £20. They are efficient, friendly and very fairly priced.
