Ricky quoted for painting and polishing my lease car, which had numerous scrapes and scratches, before I returned it. He was very helpful in suggesting what work was/wasn't necessary to get it up to an acceptable standard. He then carried out the work whilst the car was on our drive. The end result far exceeded my expectations as the car looked perfect. He worked really hard. I would not hesitate to use him again or to recommend him.

Went for a price to repaint my Prius bonnet as it was blistering. They gave me a price at £40 cheaper than another local repairer but advised me to go to my local Toyota dealer as the problem was rust and he'd never seen a Prius bonnet rust before. I'm now in talks with my Toyota dealer. Well done A1.

My wife owns a Toyota Yaris which needed minor bodywork repair. We took it to the local dealership only to be informed that they "farmed" out bodywork repairs to Howard Basford. We visited their premises and were left to "stew" whilst the man who had requested to attend us, and within sight of each other, deliberately ignored our presence. After about 15 minutes and still waiting, we left. We then visited A1 Autocare Service. The man to see was on his tea break and although we were willing to wait he left his tea to see us and examine the car. Not only that but he sorted out our problem in no time. Attention like this is to be commended and as a result it will be A1 Autocare Service that we shall use next time the car needs a service, MOT or repair.

Had lovely metal garden benches and cafe tables, but they'd all got very shabby, with flaking paint, bare metal and rust. Steve Garsed dipped and coated them, using colours from his wide range of colours (BS and RAL). They look even better than new, with a stronger, longer-lasting finish and have been much admired.

I'm a fussy, with an eye for detail so very happy when my metallic car was repaired here after a minor bump; it came back perfect. The place is well kitted out & tidy inside and the owner (Roy) tells you how it is. I wasn't too interested price wise as it was with the other party but I chose them over the main dealer.

Tim offers an excellent and competitive local service (as opposed to larger franchise operations) for small repairs, scuffs, alloy wheel repairs usually completed in one day to a very high standard, either paintless dent removal or more usual methods. Literally cannot see where repair and respray was done. Also contactable by mobile.

Repair minor dents and paint chips much more cheaply than garage bodyshops. I have used them three times in all. Very helpful and friendly staff.

THEY come to YOU - any weather. Works on your driveway. Rather nasty scuff marks on rear wing needed rubbing down, priming and two coats of matching lacquer. Job took within three hours (a.m.) from arrival to departure , & including drying time!. Operative came on time as promised , very pleasant and competent, thoroughly cleaned up afterwards . MUCH cheaper & more convenient than local franchised etc. firms . Certainly use again . (Now have operative based in Sale, Chesh., I believe.)

I have used this firm 3/4 times now they all the equipment for all major body repair work plus two ovens for harding the paint after respraying.Welding and insurance work specialists.

I recently had my car rear bumber repaired at this garage. They were very fast at repairing it, and was very reasonable priced. They also did a first class job.
