I had my car MOT here this month (Feb.2013) It passed. The lads were friendly, I shall go to them again for any further work I might need on my car. They do MOT & body repairs. next door they spray cars.

I made a dent and and some deep scratches on the rear bumper area of my car and asked for a quote. It was so good not even worth going through insurance. Took the car in on the day arranged and picked it up the next day. Job well done and price as orginally quoted. Mr Cooper is an extremely nice, friendly person running his own buisness with years of experience and is not associated to any insurance companies so gives impartial and honest advice.

I have used this firm run by Jason Hill for body repairs to my Nissan Micra. A dent in my boot and more recently for a badly scratched front mud guard and badly dented front bumper. His repairs are invisible and his charges are much less than the quotes from the main dealer.

I've used trader twice to refurbish/repair a "kerbed" alloy wheel. On both occasions they have done an excellent job with the wheel matching the remaining 3 wheels perfectly and the repair being un-noticable. They offer both a mobile service where they will come to your home remove the wheel, repair it then refit it all whilst you wait or alternatively you can remove the wheel yourself take it to them and then collect it a day or so later. There prices are very reasonable.

After obtaining three quotes ChipsAway was the median. Scott was very pleasant and helpful and provided a first class repair, the metallic paint was well blended and a perfect match. The work was carried out on time and at the agreed price.

Used them for dent removal after someone bashed the door in a car park leaving a dent and paint on car door. Perfect job and very good value.

Chris was recommended to me by my local independent car retailer when I had two small areas of damage to my vehicle. He managed to fill, smooth and repaint these areas so it is impossible to tell they were ever damaged. I consider the price he charged for this work to be very competitive. If you do not have two vehicles you will have to negotiate pickup/delivery with Chris because he lives "out in the sticks."

What a find ! This is a sole trader business from the old school of body repairs. I have taken two vehicles to him this year to repair rust damage and he has done an excellent job at very reasonable charges. Just walking into his premises reminds you of times gone by, of real craftsmen, using their hands - not machines !

Having just had great paint work done on my car, I was really upset when the rear off side was dented and scratched in an accident. It needed a body repair specialist and I was recommended to Mark Walker Bodyworks, Elvington. He did a great job and matched the colour exactly even carrying on from the repaired section respraying right through to the front of the car so that the repair was undetectable. As I was away, he picked up my car and fitted the repair in quickly for me although he was busy. My car is now as good as new again & hopefully I can keep it like this for a long time. Mark is very caring and his firm thrives on its customers recommendations because of the quality of work and satisfaction. He also does not advertise which says something for his success!

I am delighted with the work done to both my red Mercedes and also my Daughters black Volvo estate carried out by Gary Snowball of Chips Away. He was very efficient and conscientous and a perfectionist as far as the work was concerned. Both cars had scratches & dents that needed correcting. There were 19 lots of bird lime marks on the volvo bonnet which completely spoilt the appearance. The colours of the cars highlighted the problems, but the repairs are undetectable thanks to Gary's meticulous work. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Gary personally for both his work and cost.
