Car air conditioning in London city centre

I do not have enough words to praise this garage. Elderly or older mechanics people here, do an excellent job. They are very honest and the charge is better than anybody can imagine. We agreed on £120 and at the end they accepted only £100. Another garage for the same job wanted £1200. The job was done right away and well. Very pleased. I get my MOT done every year here and any problems they tell me the truth and the charges are very honest.

Due to the negligence of a main dealership, my air conditioning was too far gone for Adrian to fix. However, he found this out very quickly and charged me the minimum for coming out. He even tried to help by taking my car to the nearest place he felt would be able to arrange what turned out to be a major repair.

My car's aircon failed, so I tried to find someone that could come to me rather than taking the car in. Of all the companies I called, Adrian was the most polite & professional, and his quote was good, so I called him out. He found no gas in the system, but was unable to find the leak on the first visit, so refilled the system and put leak-detection dye in. The gas vanished again, so Adrian returned to find the leak - there was no charge for the re-visit, it was all covered in the initial visit fee. Having diagnosed a leaking condenser, Adrian quoted for a replacement - however, I decided to get the work done by my usual garage. His quote was similar to theirs, but he is based further away. I found Adrian very easy to do business with. He turned up when he said he would, was articulate, quick and efficient, did not try to pad out the job, and seemed and all-round good bloke. I heartily recommend him.

I have used Kelvin Harveys trader service on 2 x family cars for over 2 years. Kelvin is very knowledgeable about air-con and very professional in demeanour and service and reasonable in price. Some years ago having returned my Seat Alhambra to an independent dealer to have the Aircon serviced 3 times without a successful outcome, I then went to a Seat main dealer to be told that I needed a new compressor AND condensor cost approx £1260! No way! Some time later I found Kelvin on the internet. He did me special price deal for servicing both my family cars aircon at the same time. He saw there was an unusual problem with my Seat and diagnosed a potential solution that would cost me £100 to try. I took the option and it worked and the Seat Aircon has been fine for over 2 years now! So much for a new Compressor and Condensor!!

Very friendly chap, fixed it straightaway, giving me lots of cost options and put in fluid with dye at no extra charge in case there was a leak which could be subsequently identified

Had always used my local garage for all servicing on my Ford Galaxy, but when it came to problems with my Air-Con they hadn't a clue, and suggested I contact trader as they new that owner Andy Buik specialised in this field. One visit and the problem was diagnosed and fixed. After that I gave Andy my servicing business too
