Lee Morris and a colleague fitted a sump pump in my cellar to combat intermittent flooding caused by a rising water table. As a qualified electrician and builder he dug into the concrete cellar floor, installed and wired in a good quality sump pump and plumbed the drainage into the ground floor toilet waste. He was prompt, turning up exactly as arranged on all occasions, courteous and worked quickly and efficiently. His advice re: type of sump pump to fit was very helpful (ie no need to go to expense of battery back up for pump because flooding intermittent and not that bad, but good quality pump required for permanent solution). He was extremely clean and tidy in his work and cleared up as he went along. Cost was exactly as quoted. Not the cheapest but well worth the money. I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others.

I asked Dave Buckley to carry out the work described above in October last following a recommendation from my son's colleague. Following Dave's advice on materials and necessary constuction(a 3Foot retaining Wall 36 feet long) the work was done to my complete satisfaction, within the price quoted and I was informed of progress regularly and in a friendly way. The site was left in a very tidy manner and I have no hesitation in recommending Dave Buckley to any would-be customer.

Peter Harris undertook a bedroom/en suite conversion for us. At his initial visit, he was very thorough in establishing exactly what was required, advising us where necessary. He followed this up with a reasonable quote and we had no hesitation in putting the job in his hands. The work was completed with a minimum of fuss. We were especially impressed with Peter's strong commitment to good customer relations.

Excellent workmanship, competitively priced, tidy, efficient and friendly builders. During the build the weather was awful (for June/July 2012) rained throughout, but they turned up - every day - on time and worked around the weather and the fact we were still living at the property. We had a rear and side extension (making a new lounge and extending / moving the kitchen area); they problem solved including us in the process. As well as the build they fitted bi-folding french doors, double glazed windows, veluxes and flat roof windows, bringing in other professionals as required. We weren't surprised at their level of competence, consistency or standard of work as we had used their services about 10 years earlier on a previous property. When we moved to this property they told us they had a 6 month waiting time; we were more than happy to wait. We would recommend them without reservation.

Gerard and his team built a kitchen extension for us in September 2011. He helped us to define exactly what we wanted, recommended an architect and then carried out the work. Everything was to time and all commitments were met. The job is excellent and we are thrilled with it. My wife and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Dave has worked for us for many years and I trust him completely. He converted our garage into a kitchen, replaced all our windows and even converted a factory unit into offices at our business premises. A time-served carpenter by trade, he's worked in many aspects of the building trade. He's not a techy, he's no fancy website ... but he knows his wood and bricks!

A friendly professional service, providing high quality results. Having had bad experiences with builders previously it was a refreshing change to find a company I could trust to carry out various building repairs and maintenance work. The builders provided invaluable help and advice beyond the work requested and I would highly recommend them.

Gerard and his team have carried out two jobs for me in recent years:a kitchen extension in 2006 and a garage coversion finished jan 2012,in both instances they have been excellent, His quotes have been very competitive and all work was carried out to a very good standard'with very little mess. We had David to convert our garage and refit our kitchen and downstairs bathroom. He had great ideas and helped us utilise the best of the space we had in order to create a fantastic family living area. David was a very trustworthy, clean and tidy worker leaving the site clear everynight. David was punctual and a dedicated worker. David is without a doubt not the stereotypical tea drinking break taking builder. We would have no hesitation in recommending David for any work.

After more than 2 yrs struggling to look for a trust-worthy builder, I finally found Doug via words of mouth of friends. I even contacted some builders from Which Local. They did not impress me due to lack of commitment. Doug was very conscientious, tidied his work after each work day. He put himself into the property owners' shoes and came up with great ideas to make the build more effective. Very good at pricing and especially did not ask for up-front cash. If you want to find a good-builder, Doug is really the one. After he finished working at our property, he had to move on to another project, we hired another builder to do the insulation and finished the last bits, he really let us down. We are still very upset with the 2nd builder's work.
