Had these brothers round on the strength of the review here; they weren't the cheapest but they were the only ones we felt truly confident in to do a good job - and this proved to be the case. Polite from the outset, did a fantastic job, on time and on budget, and left no mess. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and next time we need a job doing we won't bother calling anyone else. Two lovely lads.

My drive has just been paved (45 sqm).I can recommend this this person who has done a first class job.I have always tried for perfection in any DIY work I have completed in the past. Sean Woodward has certainly done this.

Rob Finch responded quickly to my enquiry and followed it up equally quickly with a printed quotation. They arrived a couple of days earlier than the programmed date. Work started at 8.00am and carried on until dusk, no radios blaring, no leaving the job to work elsewhere. The weather was awful but the job was completed on time and to specification. This is a small family business which I would definitely use again.

I couldn't believe what they did in 2 days. Room for the new toilet made, new door hung, neat plastering work, original door moved to new position. Absolutely superb. 2 hardworking, friendly and cheerful brothers; it was a pleasure to have them working in the house. The job was started on time, finished promptly and completely - no odds and ends left to clear up. And as soon as I called them, they returned to alter the door a bit after the floor covering was relayed. They will give builders a good name which a lot of them won't deserve.

Paul did some re-pointing and other small building jobs for me recently. He impressed me with his knowledge and courtesy and also his fair prices. He took time to explain all the options and there was no attempt to try to do more work than was necessary. I have no hesitation in recommending P.D.G.

Excellent workmanship, competitively priced, tidy, efficient and friendly builders. During the build the weather was awful (for June/July 2012) rained throughout, but they turned up - every day - on time and worked around the weather and the fact we were still living at the property. We had a rear and side extension (making a new lounge and extending / moving the kitchen area); they problem solved including us in the process. As well as the build they fitted bi-folding french doors, double glazed windows, veluxes and flat roof windows, bringing in other professionals as required. We weren't surprised at their level of competence, consistency or standard of work as we had used their services about 10 years earlier on a previous property. When we moved to this property they told us they had a 6 month waiting time; we were more than happy to wait. We would recommend them without reservation.

A self-employed builder who was recommended to me for some repointing work to a chimney and walls. Lewis arrived as promised for quotation and for the work which was carried out to a good standard. He is a very pleasant man who explained what was necessary and recommended against unnecessary work which I had planned for. The job took less time than was anticipated as a result of which he reduced his charges. From this simple job I formed the impression that this is a builder who will give personal service to a high standard at a reasonable price

We needed to replace our wooden conservatory and invited them to quote for a new upvc one against 2 other local specialist conservatory companies. Although not the cheapest we chose MP Tyler & Sons based on our previous experience and we were not disappointed. Once again they paid attention to detail and did a very thorough and professional job. It was also a pleasure having them do the work and we would not hesitate recommending them.

these guys are very efficient - from giving a quote through to the finished job. Prices are very reasonable - with any possible additions clearly listed. They arrive on time - contacting you if there is any hold-up. The jobs are undertaken thoroughly and finished tidily; and are not left until you are satisfied. They work hard, and are pleasant to have around your property. We would recommend them, without reservation.

Originally recommended to us by the plumber who fitted our new bathroom recently, Steve Porter has proven to be an excellent find. I've employed him twice since to carry out additional work to our house; moving a partition wall, re-plastering a utility room and retro-fitting a lintel above the large living room window at the front of the house. All of the work has been carried out within the period stated, to an excellent standard and at a very reasonable price. I would recommend him to anyone.
