David arrived with his team early, and worked straight through until the job was completed. They overhauled the roof, repairing a damaged area and rebedded all the hip and ridge tiles. David kept us informed as work progressed. They finished by cleaning the gutters and leaving the whole area spotless. Reasonably priced and very professional and courteous. We are delighted with the transformation!

He recently redecorated my sitting room, for the second time. He did an excellent job and I am very pleased with the results. I would happily recommend him - he is punctual, reliable and trustworthy. His preparation is extremely thorough, and he leaves the place clean and tidy. Good value.

At last, a builder I can rely on and trust. Carl Narborough and his team, trading as HAH Design & Build, have recently completed a 7-week programme of building works for us including the installation of an en suite bathroom in an existing bedroom; and the removal, refurbishment and re-instatement of a flat roof/balcony. Carl has a 'can do' attitude, enjoys problem-solving and carries out work to a very high standard. He's not the cheapest but, as is usual in life, you get what you pay for. I have no hestitation in recommending him to others and would certainly use his services again.

This highly skilled team of professionals, redesigned a planned extension to cause the minimum of fuss and expense always bearing in mind that they needed to accomodate the needs of a disabled person. Not only were they professional in building the extension including a wet-room and disabled access throught the whole plot, but all the tradesmen they employed were just as brilliant. I have never felt the need to give such a high level of praise in my lifetime.

We needed a supporting wall and chimney breasts removed. trader gave us a reasonable quote and talked through the whole works with us before beginning the job and we felt we could trust them. We accepted their quote and they completed the job really well. They arrived when they said they would, erected dust sheets to minimise the mess, cleared up tidily at the end of each day, dealt sensibly with the building inspectors and finished the job on time. As importantly, their attitude towards us and our house was excellent. There was no excessively loud music or bad language. We would recommend them to anyone.

Jorge and Gil are those amazing kind of builders that one hears about from slightly smug people but can never find for themselves. They are truly wonderful people to work with, the quote was accurate, quality of work is beautiful and the work ethic is incredible (at our house every day for 8am and not leaving until 6 at the earliest - Saturdays and the occassional Sunday too). We had a kitchen extension done with them and the price quoted was within pennies of the final cost. Not only that, but they are lovely people, they were great with my two young daugthers and I really enjoyed having them around. If you are lucky (?!), Gil will even sing for you while he works! We have recommended them to friends and neighbours, I think they've nearly covered our whole street now! We've had a few tiny snagging issues with the job that they've come back to fix without any hassle, or charge. Brilliant and wouldn't hesitate to have them around again when I need other work doing.
