You know when you want someone you can trust to have in your home to do a job that you can't do yourself, then for us Martin Edmondson was our man! I seriously can't fault him or the work he has done on our house over the last few weeks. With getting the original quote, he took time out to come round and talk through what we wanted doing. He was really helpful in giving us ideas about how best to have a wall knocked through. When Martin and his team started the job, they made sure they laid out cloths and sheets to protect everywhere and carried out the job so as not to cause us too much inconvenience. We basically had a wall knocked through, walls plastered, removal of an unused chimney breast, and new doors fitted. Even where we needed additional plumbing work doing, he was second to none in getting someone out to sort it, relying on a useful list of contacts for getting the other jobs finished. He called on plasterers, electricians and plumbers to help us get the job done, and they all worked to his high standard. We are so pleased with how well he has done the job, that we are already pulling together another list of jobs for him to do. We are more than happy to recommend him time and time again. Not only did we love how he has improved our home, but it was a joy to have them around the house. All three of them are lovely people and we will definitely be using him again and again. In terms of cost, we feel we got really excellent value for money, one for the quality of the job done, and two, for the way Martin always came up with some really good ideas to improve things along the way. He is quite simply very good at his job and we trusted what he had to say. I gather the team are all CRB (police) checked, so you've got piece of mind if you're at all worried about having them in your house. I had no worries at all, and was often in the house alone, when my husband was at work when they were here working. If you need a job doing, and I'm sure no matter how small, or how big, Martin would more than happy to help, then I would 100% recommend you giving them a call.

Jim recently demolished an old concrete retaining wall and some steps leading to a greenhouse and built a new brick retaining wall and steps. He did an excellent job and is soon to do another job for me. Highly recommended.

I enquired about getting a job done in my loft. After giving me a quote he pointed out why the job wasn't actually needed instead of letting me get the work done for no reason! The honest advice is appreciated even though I've not actually ended up using James.

Recommendation for Mr Barker came from Which? Local. Jim recently completed exterior repair work to a high standard and in the foulest weather. He is careful, punctual and tidy but not cheap. You get what you pay for. I would use him again.

Called Andy at ascot about a leak on a flat roof, he arranged for James to come round, James was very informative & went through the potential causes. Andy then rang later on that day with an estimate of the cost. James came round & completed the work to a high standard, cleaned up after himself. He then showed me what he had done & explained what he had done. High standard of work, polite & very skilled workmanship at a reasonable price. Would happily recommend trader .

I have used this man on several occasions and his work is of a very high quality. He undertakes all aspects of building work but excels at tiling and bathroom fitting to the point that I am confident that there is no one better. On recommending him to friends, they have concurred with my opinion and have used him again since. Another important aspect of his service is that he is respectful and can be trusted implicitly in your home. An excellent all round service.

trader have fitted a new front door, pitch roof canopy and french doors. They also carried out some minor guttering jobs at the same time. They turned up at the agreed time, returned calls and are reliable. I Would use them again. Recommended.

I needed two windows removed and the space bricked up. The result, done at a reasonable price, was fantastic. The new area is virtually indistinguishable from the rest of the old wall.

We asked Mike to carry out a relatively small but complicated alteration to the ground floor of our house and chose him because of the positive comments left by others, his very professional attitude when he came to quote and the fact that he understood exactly what we wanted to achieve. He and his team were well up to expectations. Not only was the work done to a high standard, but it was properly organised (no waiting around while someone finished on another job!) and mess and disruption were kept to an absolute minimum, with everything being cleared up at the end of each day. We're delighted with the outcome and are happy to recommend Mike without reservation

Job was to cut out brickwork from external chimney breast to remove debris inside which was breaching the damp proof course, then make good. Reasonable price; came when he said he would; thorough work – didn't cut any corners; made sensible suggestions to enhance the job; cleared up well. Pleasant chap.
