Fine dining at the waterside Restaurant in the Lowry centre looking across the quays at the Imperial War Museum (North) and the new ITV centre. Beutifully lit scenerty by the qualside. Fabulous meal (two courses for around £20 - if you are having it as a pre-theatre meal) service is good and although the wine list is not extensive those that they do have are excellent. A good combination for a fine night out.

trader has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in Chester. The staff is outstanding, knowledgable and friendly. The food is consistently excellent, if a bit pricey. But we think it's worth it!

Sensational food, welcoming atmosphere in an eclectic building that was formerly a bakery (ovens etc still dotted around the building). Menu is imaginative but not gimmicky; very well balanced such that the emphasis is on flavours that combine to produce more than the sum of the individual components. Locally sourced ingredients of the highest quality are used (with sources named and recommended - see website too). They are in the Michelin guide, and in Urmston: Not what you'd expect, but pleasant surprises are just that - try it! A bargain on lunch & early-bird menu, still good value on a la carte menu

Excellent restaurant. The surroundings and atmosphere are very friendly and comfortable. Most of the food and ale are locally produced and the menu choices are superb. A very good variety of gorgeous food which is beautifully presented. The prices are reasonable for the quality you get and the drinks prices are comparable with pub prices. The staff are very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. There's a choice of comfortable seating in discrete booths or at tables and the general decor and lighting is very classy creating a very pleasant ambiance. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.
