Which? Local is a free service to subscribers to any of the Which? magazines or to Which? Online. If you're not already a Which? customer, find out more.

Set up your free account by following these simple steps

• To register, you just need to enter your membership number or order number (a letter followed by nine numbers). You can find this on your which.co.uk account page.
  
   
• Once you’ve registered you’ll be asked to set up your account details:
  • Email address and password
    to log in on future visits.
  • A screen name*
    this is an alias or nom de plume which will appear on any reviews you make.
  • Your search postcode
    this generates a map of businesses in your area. You can change this later.

Tips to get you going

• Traders are listed on the site by category (e.g. plumber).
• You’ll only see a category if someone has recommended a trader in your area.
• You can browse the categories (eg House and home) for trader types or use the ‘Find a trader type’ box.
• Change the search radius to increase or decrease the number of traders you can see.
• *If your chosen screen name is already taken, why not add some numbers to it? e.g. Joe72
• Please note, you need a separate log-in to access Which? Local - even if you already have a username and password for the  main which.co.uk website. Your Which? Online details will not work.
